" ACCOUPLEMENT N'AGISSANT QUE DANS UN SENS ET SOUMIS A DES CHOCS."
La présente invention est relative aux accouplements qui n'accouplent que dans un sens de l'arbre d'accouplement et qui ont à supporter des sollicitations de chocs. ;

"COUPLING ACTING ONLY IN ONE SENSE AND SUBJECT TO IMPACT."
The present invention relates to couplings which only couple in one direction of the coupling shaft and which have to withstand shock loads. ;
According to the invention a freewheel combined with a leaf coupling is disposed between the driving coupling shaft, and the driven coupling shaft. '
In the drawing is shown an exemplary embodiment of the object of the invention applied to the coupling of the pinion with the rotor of a starter for internal combustion engines.
1 is the pinion shaft, on the end of which the pinion 10 is mounted; 3 designates the known bearing outer ring of this type. Between the inner surfaces 1 of this rolling ring and the surface of the pinion shaft the rollers 2 are spaced, which are retained in one direction of coupling by the springs ±. Between this inner bearing ring 1 and the box of the coupling 6 the blades 7 and 8 of the blade coupling are housed * The box of the coupling 6 is securely fixed on the starter rotor.
Once the pinion is engaged in the ring gear and the starter is switched on, the rotor .2 turns and transmits the torque through the blade coupling and the

the freewheel, from the pinion shaft and pinion to the internal combustion engine. As soon as the internal combustion engine is started the freewheel operates so that the pinion shaft is rotated at the increased number of revolutions of the flywheel, but not the heavy starter rotor. In order to suppress the harmful influences of the rotations of the internal combustion engine, the above-mentioned blade coupling is provided. As soon as these returns exceed the torque which can be transmitted to the maximum, the blades slip. of the leaf coupling.
The leaf coupling is therefore a safety device for the freewheel against excessively high stresses from half of the coupling driven by these returns.
ABSTRACT .
-------------- 1. The coupling acting only in one direction and being subjected to shocks, is characterized in that, a freewheel, combined with a leaf coupling, is disposed between the driving coupling shaft and the driven coupling shaft.
2. The freewheel rollers rotate directly on the surface of the driven coupling shaft.
