Pince d'attache pour chaussettes.
L'invention a pour objet une pince d'attache pour chaus - settes, laquelle sert à attacher les chaussettes au caleçon.
Les jarretelles pour messieurs, qui sont actuellement d' un usage général, ne s'emploient pas, dans beaucoup de cas, parce que les porteurs de ces jarretelles trouvent désagréa - bles l'étranglement et la pression qu'elles produisent et renoncent donc à les utiliser après quelque temps ; ils se tirent d'affaire, alors, en attachant la chaussette au caleçon au moyen d'une épingle de sûreté ou par d'autres dispositifs d'un maniement difficile. La pince d'après l'invention est faite d'un bout de fil métallique recourbé de manière que ses deux branches a et b soient parallèles et placées étroitement l'une contre l'autre.
La partie moyenne du fil est élargie en forme de ganse e et recourbée de manière à se trouver dans un plan parallèle au plan des deux branches a et b, et ce de telle sorte qu'elle vienne à se trouver aussi près que possible des deux branches a et b, afin d'éviter une trop grande épaisseur au point que les contours de l'attache soient visibles sur la jambe du pantalon. Les pointes des deux branches peuvent être reliées de diverses manières, par exemple par une barrette transver- sale d ou par un chapeau e.
