La présente invention a pour objet un col souple dans le- quel des dispositions particulières sont prises pour améliorer la tenue du rabat et lui conserver un aspect aussi en ordre que celui réalisé par les cols raides., A cet effet. les rabats du eosont munis de pattes qui viennent sattacher au bouton de col et empêchent les coins de se relever; en mêmes temps des barret- tes rigides sont maintenues par des gaines à l'envers de la par- tie rabattante, et empêchent celle-ci de se plisser . Une troi- sième caractéristique du nouveau col suivant l'invention réside dans le fait que la boutonnière postérieure en est verticale.
Bailleurs, pour faciliter la compréhension de l'invention, celle-ci sera décrite en détail ci-dessous, avec référence à la figure unique du dessin annexé, qui représente, en développement. un col souple suivant l'invention.

Référant à cette figure, on remarque que le col souple est constitué de la manière usuelle de la bande de eol 1 et la partie rabattante. 2.'La bande de col se prolonge de la manière usuelle au-de-là de la partie rabattante par des pattes 3 et 4 qui sont pourvues des boutonnières habituelles 5 pour le bouton de col et 6 pour le bouton intérieur 7. Une caractéristique du nouveau col est que la-boutonnière postérieure 8 est eoupée verticalement et non pas horizontalement comme dans les cols usuels, ce qui a pour effet d'empêcher le glissement latéral du col.
D'autre part, sur la face interne de la partie rabattante 2, on applique parallèle- ment aux bords des coins, et à environ 1 1/2 cm. de ces bords, des gaines 9 formées en 10 du côté du bord inférieur des rabats, Dans ces gaines on peut insérer des éléments raidisseurs 11, par exemple des petites baguettes aplaties en celluloïd. Ces éléments présenteront toutefois une élasticité suffisante pour ne pas se briser pendant que l'on met son col. D'autre part, on attache également sur la face inférieure des rabats, des pattes 12 avec boutonnière Ces boutonnières sont également destinées à attacher les pattes 12 au bouton du col.
Le col étant mis de la manière ordinaire, et la cravate nouée on passe les pattes 12 derrière le noeud de cravate, et on les attacha au bouton de col. Dès lors, elles empêchent les ra- bats de se soulever, tandis que de leur côté, les baguettes élas- tiques 11 les empêchent de se briser.
Le nouveau col est donc d'un emploie facile et conserve un aspect frais et en çrdre qui n'a pu jusqu'à présent être réalisé qu'avec les cols raides souvent gênants à porter et irritants la peau chez les personnes sensibles.

Referring to this figure, we note that the flexible neck is formed in the usual way of the eol strip 1 and the folding part. 2.'The collar band is extended in the usual way beyond the folding part by tabs 3 and 4 which are provided with the usual buttonholes 5 for the collar button and 6 for the inside button 7. A characteristic feature of the new collar is that the posterior buttonhole 8 is cut vertically and not horizontally as in the usual collars, which has the effect of preventing the lateral sliding of the collar.
On the other hand, on the internal face of the hinged part 2, it is applied parallel to the edges of the corners, and about 1 1/2 cm. of these edges, sheaths 9 formed at 10 on the side of the lower edge of the flaps. In these sheaths one can insert stiffening elements 11, for example small flattened celluloid rods. However, these elements will have sufficient elasticity so as not to break while putting on the collar. On the other hand, tabs 12 with a buttonhole are also attached to the underside of the flaps. These buttonholes are also intended to attach the tabs 12 to the button on the collar.
