Abstract
De uitvinding heeft betrekking op een werkwijze voor het ontzwavelen van methaan houdende gassen door actieve kool gebaseerd op kokosnoot of palmnoot, in het bijzonder gebaseerd op kokosnoot- of palmnootschillen. De werkwijze volgens de uitvinding is bijzonder geschikt voor het ontzwavelen van methaan houdende gassen zoals biogas, stortgas, mijngas, rookgas, moerasgas of aardgas met het oog op verder gebruik van het gas of onttrokken zwavel.
