Abstract

The present invention relates to a computer-implemented method for designing a logistic bearer, comprising determining available interior space for the logistic bearer; selecting a model of a frame type and a layout element type; adding a 3D model of a component to be transported; determining dimensions of the frame and layout element; optimizing an arrangement of the components in the layout element to maximize the number of components in the logistic carrier; and generating a 3D model of the designed logistic carrier; wherein the available interior space is a precondition for determining the dimensions of the frame and layout element, wherein the available interior space falls within the dimensions of the frame, and wherein the dimensions of the layout element fall within the available space. The invention also relates to a computer system and a computer program for carrying out the method.
