FRUITSOORTEN Deze uitvinding betreft een inrichting voor het naar een goede verwerkingspositie oriënteren van groente- en/of fruitsoorten. De genoemde groente- en/of fruitsoorten zijn bij voorkeur bladhoudende soorten, zoals in het bijzonder prei. Bij het verwerken van groente- en of fruitsoorten, zoals bij voorkeur het versnijden ervan in schijfjes, reepjes of blokjes worden de te verwerken producten meestal door middel van een transportband naar de snijdgereedschappen geleid. Dergelijke systemen hebben echter het nadeel dat men vooraf niet kan bepalen welke kant, ofwel de onderkant, het worteldeel ofwel de bovenkant, het kopdeel, het product eerst contact zal maken met de snijgereedschappen. Bij bepaalde productsoorten heeft dit geen invloed, zodat de positie waarop het product wordt aangeboden aan de snijgereedschappen niet van belang is. Echter, in het geval van bladhoudende soorten, zoals bijv. prei, kan het snijsysteem geblokkeerd raken in het geval het bladhoudend deel het eerst in contact komt met het snijgereedschap. Deze uitvinding heeft daarom tot doel een inrichting te verschaffen die het mogelijk maakt om de aangevoerde groente- en/of fruitsoorten, bij voorkeur groente- en/of fruitsoorten die een ongelijkmatige vorm hebben, naar een goede verwerkingspositie te oriënteren. Binnen het kader van deze uitvinding dient te worden begrepen onder een goede verwerkingspositie, een positie waarbij het product met zijn wortelgedeelte (worteleinde) naar voor ligt of gericht ligt in de richting van een verwerkingsgereedschap, bij voorkeur een snijgereedschap. Hierdoor zal het worteleinde van het product eerst in contact komen met de verwerkingsgereedschappen. De genoemde toegangsopening bevindt zich bij voorkeur aan de onderzijde, in de nabijheid van de bodem, van het reservoir. Bij voorkeur sluit de toegangsopening aan op een aanvoersysteem, bij voorkeur een aanvoerbuis waarlangs de groente- en/of fruitsoorten kunnen aangevoerd worden in het reservoir.
