This invention relates on the one hand to a wooden construction comprising one or more walls composed of a system on top of each other wooden planks. On the other hand, the present invention relates to a method of forming a uniform color wooden structure comprising one or more walls composed of a system of superimposed wooden planks.

This invention particularly relates to wooden structures for the garden, such as garden houses, carports, chalets, log cabins, horse stables, dog houses, gates, etc.

There are several ways to obtain such a construction, namely: custom build, build yourself or buy a ready-made construction via a kit or a prefab construction.

With a kit you usually receive individual cut and sawn planks, while with a prefab construction the walls are already delivered ready-made. Building wooden structures from a kit or prefab has the advantage compared to building it yourself, that it takes much less time to build and install it.

However, despite the fact that there is already a lot of choice in quality and versions with kit or prefab, the supplied wood always has the same typical green or brown color. This color is the result of the treatment (impregnation by autoclave) that the wood undergoes to protect it against attack by eg fungi or insects. If you want a different color, you are obliged to paint the garden house, which is of course time-consuming and will entail additional costs. In addition, painting wooden structures is not recommended, as the means used for this will often work too opaque. As a result, the wood can no longer breathe and cannot drain moisture, causing it to rot faster. Furthermore, there will usually be a color difference between the different surfaces.

The object of the invention is therefore to provide a renewed wooden construction that can be supplied in kit or prefab, which no longer has the typical green or brown color and where there is no longer a color difference between the different parts.

The object of the invention is achieved by providing a wooden construction comprising one or more walls composed of a system of superimposed wooden planks, said one or more walls being impregnated with an impregnating agent to which a gray color paste has been added. The impregnation will preferably take place in an autoclave.

By adding a gray color paste to the impregnating agent, the different wooden planks will be provided with a protective layer, but will also have a uniform gray color, so that they no longer have the typical green or brown color, as was the case in the past and which resulted the element was copper, or tar which was necessarily present in the impregnating agent.

In a preferred embodiment of the wooden construction according to the invention, the impregnating agent is a mixture comprising water, a wood preservative and a gray color paste. The wood preservative is preferably one based on propiconazole, permethrin and cypermethrin. In particular, said wood preservative comprises 45 g / l propiconazole, 5 g / l cypermethrin and 1 g / l permethrin.

In a most special embodiment of the wooden construction according to the invention, said construction is a garden house or carport. Obviously, other wooden structures that have at least one wall have been dropped out

Another subject of this invention relates to a method of forming a uniform color wooden structure comprising one or more walls composed of a system of superimposed wooden planks, said walls together with all other parts of the wooden structure in an impregnation tank with impregnating agent to which a gray color paste has been added are loaded. The impregnation tank is preferably an autoclave.

The method according to the invention is in particular provided for forming a wooden construction as described above.

In order to further clarify the features of this invention and to indicate additional advantages and details thereof, a more detailed description of a wooden structure according to the present invention follows. It is to be understood that nothing in the description below can be interpreted as limiting the claims claimed in the claims for this invention.

As shown in figure 1, in addition to a number of walls (2) composed of a system of superimposed wooden planks (3), a garden house comprises a number of other parts, such as e.g. floor slab, roof segments, latches, nails, windows, gutter profiles , door fittings, webbing, mounting material, foil cloth, metal plates, ...

The boards are made of spruce wood and have a wood thickness of 18 - 22 28 - 34 - 45 or 69 mm.

All these different parts are manufactured by the manufacturer and packed together with all screws, nails, roofing and mounting plan and delivered in a kit. It is important that all (wooden) parts have the same color. To achieve this, all wooden parts of the same wood construction (1) are impregnated together in an autoclave with an impregnating agent to which a gray color paste has been added. The gray color was chosen because it is more opaque, gives less cause for pollution, is cost-effective in the sense that less treatment will be required (only for maintenance) and it is more beautiful in today's time frame. Because the gray shade provides better coverage and no additional covering layer has to be applied, the wood will be able to breathe more and thus rot less. The pigments of the gray skieur on the wood also provide better coverage against UV rays from the sun.

By treating together the different parts of the wood construction (1), which are made of wood, and which are part of the same kit, these different parts get a uniform color and are also protected against attack by fungi or insects. Treating the total package together at the same time ensures that the different wooden parts of the same package have the same texture, thickness, swelling, length, so that the wood parts will have the same tension. When placing and building the garden house, one is not confronted with large differences in dimensions.

The impregnant used is a mixture comprising water, wood preservative and a gray color paste. The wood preservative is preferably one based on propiconazole, permethrin and cypermethrin.
