  The present invention relates to vehicle tires and more particularly to a vehicle tire which supports normal operation for a certain period of time when the latter is accidentally damaged.

  For safe driving, the condition of a vehicle's tires should be checked regularly. There are two types of tires used in today's motorized vehicles, namely tubular tire, and tubeless tires. According to conventional tire arrangements, a wire mesh structure formed of transverse metal wires and longitudinal metal wires is disposed between the carcass and the tread. The two layers of wire are disposed at an angle of 17-26.

  This crossed wire structure can only enhance the structural strength of the tire. He can not protect him against piercing by a sharp external object. When a nail or the like pierces through the free spaces of the metal wire structure, the leaked tire and a tire explosion can occur.

  The present invention provides a tire, which eliminates the aforementioned problem. According to one aspect of the present invention, the tire comprises - a main tire body having two inwardly facing lips and screw holes through the turned lips, - two additional tire elements respectively adhering to the lips facing the tire. Inside the main tire body inside the tire body

 main, and a plurality of screws each screwed into one of the screw holes of the additional tire elements and engaged in corresponding holes in the inward facing lips.

  In another aspect of the present invention, the additional tire members incorporate reinforcing wire and interlocking reinforcing elements. According to an alternative form of the present invention, the additional tire elements are each integrated with the inward facing lips of the main tire body.

  The invention will be further understood from the accompanying drawings by way of example only.

  Fig. 1 is an exploded sectional view of a tire according to the present invention; FIG. 2 is an elevational view of an assembled tire according to the present invention, FIG. 3 is a sectional view showing the flat main tire. More detailed description of a preferred embodiment
Referring to Figs. 1 to 3, a tire according to a first embodiment of the present invention is illustrated which comprises a main tire element 10 and two additional annular tire elements fixed on both sides within the main tire body 10.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 3>

  The main tire body 10 incorporates reinforcing steel wires and cross-reinforcement elements (not shown) and has two lips 101 extending inwardly of the two opposing walls as a plurality of holes ( not illustrated) in the lips 101.

  The additional tire elements 20 each comprise a continuous groove extending along one of the two opposite side walls, a plurality of transverse screw holes 201 extending on either side of the two opposite side walls in communication with each other. the continuous groove 203, and a plurality of transverse air holes 202 passing through the two opposite side walls for ventilation and heat dissipation. In addition, the additional tire elements 20 each have a ribbed bottom wall.

  Referring again to figs. 1 - 3, the inner lips 101 of the main tire element 10 and the continuous groove 203 of the additional annular tire elements 20 are re-doped with a layer of adhesive, and then the continuous splines 203 of the additional annular tire elements 20 are each fixed. with the lips 101 facing inwards, and then screws 30 are aimed in the screw holes 201 of the additional tire elements 20 and engage in the recessed holes of the lips 101 to firmly secure the additional tire elements 20 to the inside of the main tire body 10. The main tire body 10 is then attached to a wheel rim 50, forming with the wheel rim 50 a vehicle wheel.

   If the main tire 10 explodes by accident, the additional tire elements

 <Desc / Clms Page number 4>

 support the shape of the main tire 10, allowing the car to be brought to a garage for repair without stopping safely.

  It will be understood that the drawings are for illustrative purposes only, and are not intended to be used to define the scope and scope of the disclosed invention.
