Abstract
The energy generator has a ring (1) partially contained in a fluid reservoir (3) which has apertures (4) to allow the ring to pass through the walls of the reservoir. The reservoir has rollers (2) positioned around the ring to support it for rotation. The rollers position the ring so that it can rotate around its central axis. The reservoir can contain a fluid of different density to air to provide an Archemedes effect.

DESCRIPTION Mechanism for producing energy by exploiting the Archimedes 'thrust The invention relates to a ring rotating around its axis thanks to the Archimedes' thrust. This energy is recovered in the form of mechanical or electrical energy. Depending on the size of the device and the materials used, the invention can serve as a basis for the construction of generators of small dimensions, for example a generator or to meet the needs of a family (water heating, production of 'electricity) or on a larger scale, in industry or public services.
Patents granted for inventions also using Archimedes' thrust to produce a movement: JP56060865: a cylinder containing several objects, rotating on itself.
JP56126680: rotation of semi-circular objects with a density equal to half that of the liquid in which they move.
JP59201982: perpetual movement obtained by a system using liquids of different densities, and mechanical accessories (pistons, cylinders, etc.) The present invention notably has the advantage of great ease in recovering the energy developed: rotation continuous rollers driven by the ring can be directly used by a dynamo to other devices.
It solves several major problems related to energy production. The motive power of this device is available everywhere in inexhaustible quantities, and it does not create any nuisance.
The mechanism is simple to build with readily available materials.
An exemplary embodiment is described in the attached figure. A relatively thick ring (1) of constant section is partially immersed in a container containing a liquid. An opening (4) in the bottom of the container is adjusted to the section of the ring and allows it to pass from one side to the other of the wall, and has a seal to prevent water from s infiltrates outside, while producing a minimum of friction.
The arrangement of the ring with respect to the container is such that only the rising part of the ring is immersed in the liquid. For a larger part of the ring to be submerged, a second sealed opening would be required at the top of the wall (not shown here).
It is held by rollers (2) so that it has no other possibility of movement than rotation around its central axis. Archimedes' push (5) drives the ring in a rotational movement.
The rollers (2) are placed around the ring (1), and their axes are connected to the walls of the container or to an external structure. Their positions, number and shapes must be such that they hold the ring in place with sufficient precision.
They should generate as little friction as possible. They are driven by the rotation of the ring, and the energy produced can be recovered on these rollers to provide electrical and / or mechanical energy.
