<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
kast.

House installation provided with a sub-distribution system, as well as the sub-distribution system suitable for the house installation.
The invention relates to a house installation for distributing energy over a number of consumers. including a central distribution device with a number of groups, one group of which is arranged to supply energy to a number of electrical appliances to be arranged in a specific space of a plot and is connected to a sub-distribution device in that space, which is provided with connections, to which the mentioned devices can be connected.
Such a house installation is known from the Dutch patent application. 186. 936. This describes a house installation, in which its low-voltage distribution device is built into a meter box and in which the distribution and protection functions are performed centrally. In general, such central distributors have a number of groups, which is why a part of the distributor is also called group boxes.
The problem is often encountered in such home installations. that in the event of changes in the type of electrical appliances or the addition of such appliances, the central distribution system or the electrical installation. cabling and piping like this in the sleighs. floors and ceilings has to be changed. There are various extension logos of the central distribution device on the market which make the modification somewhat easier.
The object of the invention is to provide a house installation of the type stated in the opening paragraph, wherein the above-mentioned problems are avoided.
According to the invention, this layer is thereby achieved. that the sub-distribution unit comprises a common switch-disconnector. with which the entire sub-distribution system can be switched on or off.
According to the invention, a unique group in the central distribution units is specially dimensioned and arranged for a number in a specific space of a plot. for example a kitchen, possible to install electrical appliances. These devices can be flexibly connected by means of the sub-distribution unit.
The protection in the sub-distribution unit is such that it is "selective" with respect to the protection in the central meter.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
closet. Da1 means that a protection in the sub-distribution device trips in the event of a fault (short circuit or overload) in one of the connected devices, while the central protection remains "in".
As a result, other users of the central house installation are protected from mains failure in the event of an error in one of the outgoing groups
EMI2.1
of the
The installation is very flexible, because for expansion in, for example, a kitchen, no groups have to be added again in the central distribution unit or group cupboard, so that expensive extension of the meter cupboard and expensive cabling is avoided. No additional wiring and pipes are required from the central meter box to the equipment to be protected.
The home installation is also easily expandable afterwards in that only the sub-distribution device needs to be expanded by equipping pre-prepared groups.
The invention also has the advantage. that when building a house, determining the placement and the number of devices to be protected can be delayed. When installing kitchens, existing construction can easily make use of existing pipes or tubes and / or wiring.
Furthermore, a relatively small house installation is sufficient and no expensive cabling to the kitchen is required. When installing kitchens in existing buildings, it is easy to use existing exterior or pipes and / or wiring.
All in all, the system is easy to install and expand.
It is noted that from patent publication ZA-9602928 a distribution system is known per se with mounted standard sockets which can be switched on or off with switches built into the hot system. However, this distribution system is not linked to a unique group of a central distribution device.
Furthermore, U.S. Pat. No. 5,574,622 has per se described a noble system having a similar function to that described in the above-mentioned publication, emphasizing the aobile properties.
In a preferred embodiment, a cable runs from the arranged group of the central distribution unit and ends in a wall socket, the sub-distribution unit being provided with a connection cable with a fitting on the wall socket
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
contact plug. This configuration allows the sub-distribution board to be conveniently housed in a cabinet in the aforementioned ruin. for example a kitchen cabinet. and even if the kitchen is not yet equipped with the electrical appliances or has not yet been decided on.
Preferably, the sub-distribution unit consists of a box, which
EMI3.1
is provided with sockets and on one side of which is provided with recesses, through which the sockets are accessible for inserting plugs on connection cables of the devices. This makes the sub-distribution device so-called plug-ready. ie the electrical devices can be retrofitted with plugs. The user of the electrical appliances is therefore no longer bound by time when deciding which appliances to connect.
In a preferred embodiment to be used, the sub-distribution device has a frame detachably mounted in the box in front

the degradation of components belonging to the sockets, which means that the frame can be pre-assembled in the factory and bed-edged as much as possible. when it is already known what requirements are set for energy supply and security.
Further embodiments of the invention are defined in the subclaims.
The invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings. In the drawings: Fig. 1 schematically shows an embodiment of a house installation according to the invention; Fig. 2 shows an embodiment of a sub-distribution unit in a cabinet; fig. 3 the connection options on one side of the cabinet; and Fig. 4 shows a cross-section of a further embodiment of a sub-distribution device according to the invention.
The invention will be described on the basis of an embodiment for a kitchen installation. however, the house installation according to the invention can also be used in, for example, a garage, attic. basement or warehouse, wherever local equipment is to be installed, energized and secured.
Fig. 1 illustrates that the housing $ tallat1e consists of a central distribution device 1. which is divided into a main

fuse box 2, which is connected to the power supply or riser cable 5 of the energy company. A consumption meter 3 is connected to the main safety box 2, which in turn is connected to the group box 4. Three groups of this group box 4 are used for the secure supply of energy to various offtake points in the plot; namely through wiring 6.7 and 8. A unique group of the group cabinet is specially dimensioned and equipped for connecting and protecting electrical appliances in a kitchen installation.
The unique group is connected via a special cable or pipe to a wall socket which is schematically indicated with the reference number 10. The pipe can consist of 5 conductors of 4 mm2, i.e. 2 phase conductors. 2 neutral conductors and 1 earth conductor. For this, a 5-core cable can be used or 5 wires of 4 etc in a tube with a diameter of 19 imin or larger. The wall socket can be of the type Perilex of 25 A. The da group cabinet's unique special group is (compulsory) provided with protective equipment. This group can, for example, be a 20 A. 4-p machine. The sub-distribution device 13 is provided with a connecting cable 11 with a contact plug 12 fitting on the wall socket 10 at the end.
Preferably, the sub-distribution device 13 is provided with a main switch 14. In the embodiments shown, the sub-distribution has a cooking group 15 and four equal

types of groups 16 to set 19. for example, four circuit-breakers or earth fault circuit breakers J. 6 A. 30 mA. The circuit breakers or earth fault circuit breakers in the sub-distribution board are selective in relation to the central circuit breaker in the central distribution board.
At the bottom right of the figure, the connection of the electrical appliances to the sub-distribution device 13 is schematically shown; namely the connection cable 20 of the hob / oven, the connection cable 21 to the boiler, the connection cable 22 to a microwave, the connection cable 23 to a refrigerator and any sockets and the connection cable 24 to a dishwasher and lighting of the kitchen installation.
Fig. 2 shows an example of a sub-distribution device according to the invention arranged in a cupboard of a kitchen. The sub-distribution unit 13 is attached to the cabinet by means of a frame 46.47. In fig. 3 the underside of the sub-distribution unit 13 is visible. Recesses are provided in the bottom of the sub-grease sub-assembly 13, behind which sockets 27-31 are mounted.
These sockets are accessible via the recesses in the underside of the sub-distribution unit 13 for insertion of associated contact plugs, of which, for the sake of clarity, only the contact plugs 32-34 and the associated cables 35-37 are shown.
The connecting cable 11 of the sub-distribution unit 13 is also shown. This connecting cable 11 i8 can be connected to the wall socket by means of the contact plug not shown in this figure

10 of FIG. 1 or 2.
On Ni. To save money, flat saalle multi-pole sockets are used instead of sockets that match the standard Euro socket outlets that are used, for example, with a lamp or refrigerator.
It is noted that the sub-distribution device may be designed such that the sockets are accessible via the rear of the sub-distribution device, namely within the scope of the above-mentioned cable duct 25 with removable cover 26. The connecting cables are then even better concealed.
Fig. 4 i9 shows a cross-section of an embodiment of the sub-distribution device according to the invention. This sub-distribution unit 13 consists of a rectangular box with a bottom 38, rear 39 and top 40 and invisible further sides. A frame 41 is present in the housing of the sub-distribution unit 13. that the back wall 39 can be clipped or otherwise attached to it4. for example with a single screw connection. The rapid Assembly of the frame is of course important. Components associated with the sockets are mounted on this releasably mounted or clickable frame, for example on so-called hat profiles 42, 43.
A common switch-disconnector 44 is clicked onto the hat profile 43, which connection is in connection with the connecting cable 11 of the sub-distribution unit 13 (see Figures 1-3). This switch-disconnector

cable 11 of the sub-distribution unit 13, the switch-disconnector. the power or earth fault switches and sockets are not shown, since these wiring is obvious to a skilled person.
The components 44, 45 of the sub-distribution unit 13 are visible at the front via recesses in a preferably releasably secured front cover and front operation.
The sub-distribution system according to the invention has the following advantages in new construction projects.
Required consumer - no problems with deadline with regard to choice - depending on the equipment to be used and adaptations of pipelines, direct price advantage - in the event of later expansion of equipment, no adjustments are required for electricity (price advantage and convenience) - communication with Mn party: (no difficult consultation et contractor, incorrect information etc.).
