DE BESCHRIJVING Titel : Vasthechtbare strandhanddoek Deze uitvinding heeft betrekking op het gebled van de strandhanddoeken. meer bepaald strandhanddoeken voorzien van een vasthechtingssysteem. Het gebruik van strandhanddoeken is bij iedereen welbekend en ingeburgerd. Maar zolang ze bestaan, werd de gebruiker ervan geconfronteerd met praktische problemen en ongemakken zoals hoe te verhinderen dat ze worden weggeblazen of omgeslagen door de wind. nog verergerd door de aanwezigheld van zand. Een goede oplossing voor dit probleem is een strandhanddoek die wordt vastgemaakt aan alle mogelijke soorten en modellen van zltmeubelen. zonder gebruik te maken van bijkomende of separate mstrumentana.
Dit is precies het onderwerp van de betreffende uitvinding. Ook de minder handige personen onder ons zullen ln staat zijn deze lnnovatle te gebrulken na een korte blik op de beschrijving of handleiding ervan. De toepassingsmogelijkheden van de vasthechtbare strandhanddoek zijn divers en steeds even gebrulksvriendeliJk.
De vasthechtbare strandhanddoek - waarvan sprake - kan gebruikt worden bij alle zit- of ligstoelen zonder onderscheid. Het basismodel bestaat uit badstof in rechthoekige vorm met een boven-en onderkant en 2 zijkanten.
In de vier hoeken wordt een verstevigde diagonale inkeping gemaakt van 20 bij 5 cm (zie afbeelding 1). Deze vier verstevigde diagonale sleuven vormen het enige vasthechtingsmiddel van de handdoek aan eender welk soort van zitmeubel. Via de sleuven wordt de strandhanddoek bevestigd aan de 4 hoeken van de stoel (ln casu 2 aan het hoofdeinde en 2 aan het voeteneinde).
Afbeelding 2 toont een variant op het basismodel, namelijk een strandhanddoek met slechts 2 diagonale inkepingen. Dit model wordt aan het zitmeubel vastgehecht enkel en alleen aan het hoofdeinde.
Deze nieuwe vasthechtingstechniek. of het nu om 2 of 4 diagonale inkepingen gaat. maakt integraal deel uit van de handdoek ; er is dus geen bijkomend hulpstuk of extra instrumentarium nodig. los van de handdoek. Bovendien blijft de strandhanddoek haar oorspronkelijke functie volledig behouden en is het vasthechtingssysteem toepasbaar op elk soort zltmeubel (tuinstoel. strandstoel. llgzetel. etcetera)

ACHTERGROND VAN DE UITVINDING Wie. genietend van de zon. wel eens vertoeft aan het strand of aan de boord van een zwembad, heeft vaak de gewoonte om zijn of haar ligstoel te bedekken met een strandhanddoek.
Het geeft de gebrulker een bijkomend ligcomfort en personaliseert a. h. w. de stoel.
Men is dan echter ook welbekend met het feit dat deze handdoek zelden mooi uitgespreid op de stoel blijft liggen, maar integendeel wegwaait in de wind. beweegt bij het veranderen van houding of naar beneden schuift bij het op-of neerklikken van de rugzljde van de stoel. Alleen al dit praktische probleem toont het nut aan van een vasthechtbare strandhanddoek.
Hoe deze vasthechting wordt gerealiseerd heeft groot belang : > Het moet toepasbaar zijn voor handdoeken van alle groottes en vormen. d. w. z. op alle soorten zitmeubelen.
> Het moet een eenvoudige en esthetisch verantwoorde oplossing bieden. gemakkelijk en snel te begrijpen zijn voor iedereen en niet ingrijpend raken aan het uiterlijk van de handdoek.
Het moet 1 geheel vormen met de handdoek. Een supplementair hulpstuk zoals linten. elastieken. pinnen. velcro. clipssystemen worden vaak vergeten. verloren of gaan stuk.
Na enig onderzoek in dit domein, kwam ik tot de conclusie dat uitvinders steeds uitgaan van 1 specifiek vasthechtingssysteem toepasbaar op 1 specifiek soort ligzetel of zitmeubel. Het feit dat deze ldeeën werden uitgewerkt in een eerste faze, maar nooit effectief gecommercialiseerd, leidde tot mijn beginadagium : geen extra hulpmiddelen creëren als vasthechtingssysteem voor een strandhanddoek. Een consument kijkt immers eerst naar de bruikbaarheid en toepasbaarheid van een dergelijk Instrumentarium, niet naar het idee erachter. M. a. w. is het idee goed. maar werkt het product niet naar behoren als oplossing voor het gestelde probleem, dan kan men niet verwachten dat het product een groot commercieel succes zal kennen.
Vandaar de kerngedachte van mijn uitvinding : behoud de bestaande vorm van een strandhanddoek. zonder bijkomende hulpmiddelen, zodat de handdoek ook steeds ln haar oorspronkelijke functie kan gebruikt worden.
Deze uitvinding maakt komaf met alle soorten vasthechtingstechnieken zoals tot vandaag op de markt gebracht en lntroduceert niet enkel een nieuw vasthechtingssysteem, maar eigenlijk een nieuwe generatie van strandhanddoeken Snelheid en eenvoud in het gebrulk is een van de sleutels tot succes voor een commercieel product.

Een steeds terugkerend en universeel "probleem" zoals het onze, op een zeer simpele manier oplossen : dat was de basisidee van mijn ultvinding.
Alle gepatenteerde vasthechtingssystemen in het verleden bleken in de praktijk net niet eenvoudig of snel genoeg of het resultaat was een strandhanddoek die geen strandhanddoek meer was. m. a. w. haar oorspronkelljke functie verloor. Mijn uitvinding bereikt het vooropgestelde doel op de meest eenvoudige manier en zonder omwegen. De voordelen zijn dan ook talrijk : > Het systeem is zeer eenvoudig en voor iedereen gemakkelijk te begrijpen en te gebrulken.
> De strandhanddoek is snel te monteren en demonteren.
De kosten voor productie van deze nieuwe strandhanddoek liggen niet noemenswaardig hoger dan de kostprijs van een traditioneel model.
Op esthetisch vlak blijft het uitzicht van de strandhanddoek onaangetast. herkenbaar en dus zonder meer of minder omvangrijke aanhangsels.
> De strandhanddoek blijft beschikbaar voor alle traditionele doeleinden.
De voordelen van deze uitvinding komen volop tot hun recht ln de tekeningen in bijlage Gelleve te noteren dat de tekeningen illustratief zijn en dat kleine aanpassingen steeds mogelijk zijn.
Tekening 1 stelt een doorsnede voor van de boven- en onderziJde van de strandhanddoek met 4 vasthechtingspunten. conform het basismodel van mijn uitvinding. In het rechthoekig strandlaken zijn in elke hoek verstevigde diagonale inkepingen aangebracht met een afmeting van 20 x 5 cm.
Tekening 2 stelt een doorsnede voor van een strandhanddoek met slechts 2 vasthechtingspunten, met name in de bovenzijde van de handdoek.
Deze innovatie is het resultaat van geduldig observeren en analyseren van de belangrijkste ongemakken bij het gebrulk van een traditionele strandhanddoek. Bij het verregaand en objectief onderzoek hieropvolgend. kwam ik tot de conclusie dat er op dit moment geen strandhanddoeken op de markt te vinden waren met volgende basiseigenschappen :

De nieuwe vasthechtbare strandhanddoek kan gebruikt worden op eender welke winderige plaats (strand. cruiseschip....). Ze is verkrijgbaar in een serie standaard afmetingen. afhankelijk van de productievereisten van de toekomstige leveranciers.
Ongeacht het formaat. blijft de strandhanddoek haar esthetische kwaliteiten behouden. net zoals aan haar oorspronkelijke functie niets wordt gewijzigd.
Aanvullend op deze tekst en afbeeldingen. zullen degenen met praktijkervaring op dit gebled ongetwijfeld een aantal praktische aanpassingen en verbeteringen kunnen voorstellen. Zolang er niet wordt geraakt aan het origineel concept. blijven veranderingen mogelijk.
Elke toepassing waarbij de basis wordt gevormd door mijn ultvinding zoals hierbij beschreven. valt onder deze claimaanvraag.

A reinforced diagonal notch measuring 20 by 5 cm is made in the four corners (see figure 1). These four reinforced diagonal slots are the only means of attaching the towel to any kind of seating. The beach towel is attached to the 4 corners of the chair via the slots (in this case 2 at the head end and 2 at the foot end).
Figure 2 shows a variant of the basic model, namely a beach towel with only 2 diagonal notches. This model is attached to the seating furniture only at the head end.
This new attachment technique. whether it is 2 or 4 diagonal notches. is an integral part of the towel; therefore no additional accessory or additional instruments are required. separate from the towel. In addition, the beach towel fully retains its original function and the attachment system can be applied to any type of furniture (garden chair, beach chair, chair, etc.).

After some research in this area, I came to the conclusion that inventors always start from 1 specific attachment system applicable to 1 specific type of lounger or seating furniture. The fact that these ideas were worked out in a first phase, but never effectively commercialized, led to my early adage: not creating additional tools as a beach towel attachment system. After all, a consumer first looks at the usefulness and applicability of such instruments, not at the idea behind them. M. a. W. the idea is good. but if the product does not work properly as a solution to the problem posed, it cannot be expected that the product will be of great commercial success.
Hence the core idea of my invention: keep the existing shape of a beach towel. without additional aids, so that the towel can always be used in its original function.
This invention eliminates all types of bonding techniques as marketed today and not only introduces a new bonding system, but actually a new generation of beach towels. Speed and simplicity in use is one of the keys to success for a commercial product.

Solving a recurring and universal "problem" like ours in a very simple way: that was the basic idea of my invention.
All patented attachment systems in the past proved to be just not simple or fast enough in practice, or the result was a beach towel that was no longer a beach towel. m. a. w. lost its original function. My invention achieves the intended goal in the simplest way and without detours. The advantages are therefore numerous:> The system is very simple and easy for everyone to understand and use.
> The beach towel is quick to assemble and disassemble.
The cost of producing this new beach towel is not significantly higher than the cost of a traditional model.
From an aesthetic point of view, the appearance of the beach towel remains unaffected. recognizable and therefore without more or less bulky appendages.
> The beach towel remains available for all traditional purposes.
The advantages of this invention are fully appreciated in the drawings in Appendix Gelleve that the drawings are illustrative and minor adjustments are always possible.
