Il a certes déjà été proposé une genouillère de protection qui consiste en un coussinet destiné à être placé devant le genou, ce coussinet étant maintenu en place par des sangles qui enserrent le bas de la cuisse et le dessus du mollet de la jambe. Ce type de genouillère connue présente cependant plusieurs inconvénients qui peuvent être résumés comme suit : (i) les sangles serrent aux jambes et provoquent une gêne qui, à la longue, occasionne un grand inconfort pour le travailleur et un risque d'ankylose des jambes.

Le but de la présente invention est de pallier les inconvénients mentionnés ci-avant.
A cet effet. l'invention propose une genouillère de protection comprenant un coussinet pour couvrir le genou, le coussinet étant pourvu de plusieurs bretelles qui lui sont fixées par une de leurs extrémités, l'extrémité opposée de chaque bretelle est équipée d'une pince d'accrochage destinée à s'attacher de manière détachable à une jambe de pantalon, le coussinet peut être fixé sur une pièce de support, les bretelles étant fixées à la pièce de support précitée.
L'avantage de la genouillère de protection suivant l'invention est qu'elle peut être attachée sur n'importe quel modèle de pantalon, tout en laissant une parfaite aisance et une totale liberté de mouvement pour les jambes de la personne qui porte le pantalon. Cette personne peut ainsi protéger ses genoux dans l'exercice de son métier ou d'un sport ou de toute autre activité sans gêne aucune, sans risque de blessure et avec un parfait confort.
Un exemple de mode de réalisation de la genouillère de protection suivant l'invention est décrit dans ce qui suit à l'aide des dessins ci-joints.

Se reportant aux dessins, la figure 1 montre un coussinet 11 formant coquille. Sur le pourtour de cette coquille sont fixées par une extrémité quatre bretelles 13. Dans une variante d'exécution, les bretelles 13 pourraient être attachées directement sur le pourtour du coussinet proprement dit. L'extrémité libre de chaque bretelle 13 est équipée d'une pince d'accrochage, par exemple une pince connue en soi. telle que la pince 14.
La mise en place d'une genouillère 10 suivant l'invention se fait simplement en attachant les pinces 14 à chaque jambe de pantalon comme montré en figure 2. Ainsi attachées au pantalon. les coquilles ! ! protègent les genoux sans
