(fig.l, 1 en 2) voorzien in elke spijl of in even of oneven aantallen (fig.l, 5 en 6).

Universal rim and rim surround for bath and shower trays
with curved outline shapes.
The invention relates to a system that can be used for the edge and edge rim substructure of bath tubs and shower trays made of sheet steel, cast iron, acrylic or other plastics with curved outline shapes. The system allows to follow any curved shape of a shower rim or bathtub rim. The system is not tied to
the outer dimensions of the bathtub or shower tub, nor the height of the installation. The finish can be provided by tiling
or any other form of decoration.
Traditionally, a bath or shower edge has been bricked or provided
of a wooden, metal or plastic construction with plates on it
from plastic, wood, plaster, cement or a combination of these.
Also known are rigid preformed panels in plastic or sheet steel, whether or not as a direct finish or for tiling or for
make any other decoration. Furthermore, complete forms in construction box technology are known with one model per type of bath or shower tub. These methods are also used for a tablet or dispensing edge.
Bath and shower trays with curved perimeter shapes can be bricked in the classic way, but this is a labor-intensive job
and one needs a lot of professional knowledge. As described in lines 11 and 12, there are further panels that are difficult to deform, unless panels are typically used for the bath or shower that are used

cockpit this panel is available. Furthermore, there are decorative panels in a material and / or color equivalent to the bath or shower tub which are again bound to one type of bath or shower tub and which are also limited in height in placement.
The present invention avoids these labor-intensive or strictly tied applications.
The panels divided into only 2 areas of application (bath or shower trays) follow both the straight and the edge of the bath or shower edge.
the curved shapes of the bath or shower edge. They consist of bars (fig. 1, 3 + fig. 2, 11) which, viewed in bottom view, are geometric planes (fig. 1, 7) such as rectangle, square, trapezoid, parallelogram, triangle, polygon, circle and ellipse, sector or segment. And in upright form (fig. 2, 12) be cube, rectangular, parallelopiped, cylinder or hollow cylinder.
These bars are chamfered at the top of the rear wall to the top with or without a straight and / or curved end point (fig. 1, 8-9-10).
The bars are cut, sawn, pressed, shaped or foamed and consist of expanded or extruded polystyrene or another plastic. They can also consist of wood, metal, plaster, cement, stone or a combination of these.
At the top there are recesses, inclined or not, in height
(Figures 1, 1 and 2) are provided in each bar or in odd or even numbers (Figures 1, 5 and 6).
The front at the top is rounded (fig. 1, 13) to absorb irregularities in the bath or shower edge.
Depending on the application, a flexible material is applied on the back (fig. 2, 14) or on the front (fig. 1, 4), which consists of a mat or fabric made of textile, fiberglass or any other plastic, as well as a net or mat. metal. This pliable material is applied by means of gluing, pressing, heating or action during the manufacturing process of the bars. The mat, fabric or net can be applied over the entire vertical rear side as well as in webs.

shower tray and can simply be cut or cut. The front of both fig. 1 and fig. 2 can be processed without further processing

A series of connected bars (fig. 3) is placed at the bottom of the bath or shower edge and secured by means of wedges (fig. 3, 15 + fig. 1, 18) at the bottom. In the straight sections, the bars continue to run stiffly next to each other, in the curved shapes they split open as shown in fig. 2, 20 and fig. 3, 17 or close as in fig. 1, 21. So the panel (consisting of a set of bars) follows the bath or shower edge without any problems. The bars can also be provided with a protruding part that serves as a tablet (fig. 1, 19), however no S-shape can be formed. Before installing the elements, the installer checks whether the tiles or any other decoration material is underneath the curves

a tablet).
When everything is placed level, a preferably PU-2 component foam is placed at the top of the upwards slanted openings
(fig. 3, 16) foam applied so that the bars are glued to the bath or shower edge. Afterwards, the sides and bottom sides are foamed so that the bars with the wall and
the bottom are glued. This assembly and gluing process takes 15 to 20 minutes at the most. After the foam has hardened, the installer can cut off the excess foam and immediately start tiling or applying another decoration material. In system fig.2, during the tiling or decoration work, the gaps between the bars are filled with a plaster or cement emulsion. The gaps can also be filled by PU-1 or 2 component foam.
