<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>
<Desc/Clms Page number 7>

Weaving machine with a bearing closure.
This invention relates to a weaving machine with a bearing lock for a tree.
It is known from US 5,184,650 to mount a tree in a bearing using a bearing lock. Such a bearing lock consists of a lever that is movable between two extreme positions. Means are also provided to move the lever and keep it in the extreme positions. The disadvantage of such a bearing closure is that it contains many parts and is therefore relatively extensive and expensive.
The object of the invention is a bearing closure which is very simple in design.
To this end, the bearing fastener of the invention includes a pivotally rotatable elastically deformable plate that can cooperate with the boom, and means comprising a pin and collars cooperating with the pin, the means forcing the plate to elastically deform when rotated. plate from an extreme position where the pin cooperates with a collar. This prevents the means from rotating the plate from an extreme position.
For this purpose the distance between a circle circumference running through the axis of the pin around the pivot and the collars is preferably smaller than the radius of the pin.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The invention offers the advantage that the bearing closure consists mainly of a single plate, that all forces exerted on the bearing closure lie in one plane, that the bearing closure contains two stable positions and that the bearing closure can be opened and closed in a very simple manner. .
According to an embodiment, the collars are provided with a slotted hole near the ends and force the plate to deform elastically when the plate is rotated from the ends of the slotted hole.
The tree preferably consists of a warp or a cloth tree of a weaving machine.
In order to present the features according to the invention more clearly, the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to drawings with exemplary embodiments, in which: figure 1 schematically shows a part of a weaving machine with a bearing closure according to the invention; figure 2 shows the bearing closure according to figure 1 in a different position; figures 3 and 4 in positions according to figures 1 and 2 show a variant of the bearing closure according to the invention; figure 5 shows in a position according to figure 1 a variant of the bearing closure according to the invention; figure 6 in a position according to figure 2 another variant of

EMI3.1
represents the bearing closure according to the invention.
Figure 1 shows a part of a weaving machine, in which in each side frame 1 of the weaving machine a bearing shell 2 is provided, in which a shaft end of a tree 3, either a warp or a cloth tree, is mounted. At each bearing shell 2, a bearing closure according to the invention is provided, which consists of a plate 4 which is rotatable around a pivot point 5. This pivot point 5 is formed by a shaft 6 which is attached to the side frame 1 and around which the plate 4 is mounted .
The plate 4 further includes a slotted hole 7 and an elastic portion 8 located between the pivot 5 and the slotted hole 7. This elastic part 8 is formed by locally reducing the cross section of the plate 4 such that this permits the plate 4 to elastically deform at the height of this part 8. The plate 4 also contains a bearing shell 11 which cooperates with a shaft end of the tree 3 in order to enclose the tree 3 between the bearing shell 2 of the side frame 1 and the bearing shell 11 of the plate 4.
The bearing closure according to the invention contains means comprising a pin 10 and collars 13 cooperating with the pin.
The pin 10 is hereby attached to side frame 1 of the weaving machine and can cooperate with collars 12 and 13 which are provided with the slotted hole 7 of the plate 4 near the ends 14 and 15 of the slotted hole. The slurry hole is situated approximately according to a circle circumference 9 passing through the axis of the pin 10 around the pivot point 5.
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
means forcing the plate 4 to elastically deform when the plate 4 is rotated from an extreme position, or from the ends 14,15 of the slotted hole 7, the pin 10 cooperating with a collar 12 or 13 such that the means prevent the plate 4 to rotate from an extreme position. The elastic deformation of the plate 4 takes place mainly at the level of the elastic part 8 between the pivot 5 and the slotted hole 7.
Here, the slotted hole 7 and the collar 12 or 13 are located relative to the circumference 9 so that the plate 4 has to deform to move the pin 10 from the associated end 14 or 15 of the slotted hole 7. To this end, the distance between the aforementioned circle circumference 9 and the collars 12 and 13 is less than half the diameter or the radius of the pin 10, so that the plate 4 must deform so that the pin 10 can pass beyond the collars 12 and 13.
In the position of figure 1, the pin 10 is located near the end 14 behind the collar 12 and the bearing closure is closed. To open the bearing lock, the lever 17 of the plate 4 is moved according to arrow P so that the plate is deformed at the level of the part 8 and the parts 18 and 19 of the plate 4 are pressed together, and the bearing lock can be opened . This allows the pin 10 to move past the collar 12 and move further into the slotted hole 7 by moving the lever 17 further with the plate 4 according to arrow P until the pin 10 is near the end 15. Then the lever 17 is released and the plate 4 becomes relieved of the deformed elastic
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
part 8 is forced behind the collar 13, so that the position of figure 2 is obtained with the bearing closure open.
In order to subsequently close the bearing closure, the lever 17 is moved according to arrow R, so that the plate 4 is deformed at the level of the part 8 and the parts 18 and 19 of the plate 4 are moved apart. This allows the pin 10 to move past the collar 13 and move further into the slotted hole 7 by moving the lever 17 further according to arrow R until the pin 10 is near the end 14. Then the lever 17 is released again and the plate 4 is forced behind the collar 12 by relieving the deformed elastic part 8, so that the bearing closure is closed again and the position of figure 1 is restored.
The collar 12 is here within the circle circumference 9 and the collar 13 outside the circle circumference 9. This allows the pin 10 to move away from the collar 12 or 13 with the movement according to arrow P or R, so that the bearing closure can be opened or closed.
The slotted hole 7 has a shape that allows the pin 10 to move with sufficient clearance into the slotted hole 7, and beyond the collars 12 and 13 of the slotted hole 7. The slotted hole 7 is preferably provided such that the plate 4 is not elastically deformed or under tension when the pin 10 is in the center of the slotted hole. The plate 4 can be slightly elastically deformed or under a small elastic tension when the pin 10 cooperates with the collars 12 or 13, the deformation or tension of course being smaller than that
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
when pin 10 passes beyond collars 12 or 13.
The bearing shell 11 can for instance be fastened to the plate 4 with bolts 16. The bearing shell 2 is, for example, welded to the side frame 1. The plate 4 with elastic part 8 and slotted hole 7 can be manufactured, for example, by cutting it from a square plate using a laser beam. According to a variant, this plate can also be manufactured by injection molding.
The lever 17 can be moved manually or with the aid of robot arms of a tree transporting device. The lever 17 naturally has a suitable form for this purpose. According to a variant, this lever can also be ordered with controllable motors or cylinders.
Figures 3 and 4 show a variant in which the pin 10 is formed by a bearing 21 rotatable about an axis 20. The bearing shell 11 is hereby integrated in the plate 4. In this embodiment, the pin 10 is also not completely on the end. of the slotted hole 7 when the pin 10 cooperates in an extreme position with a collar 12 or 13. In this embodiment, the plate 4 is not elastically deformed or under elastic tension when the pin 10 cooperates with a collar 12 or 13.
Figure 5 shows a variant in which the slotted hole 7 and the collars 12 and 13 are provided on a side frame 1 of the weaving machine and the pin 10 is attached to the plate 4. In this embodiment, the collar 12 with which the pin 10 is
<Desc / Clms Page number 7>
cooperates with closed bearing closure outside a circle circumference 9 running through the axis of the pin 10 around the pivot 5 and the collar 13 with which the pin 10 cooperates with open bearing closure lies within the aforementioned circle circumference 9. This in order to also allow, with a movement according to arrow P or R, to move the pin 10 away from the collar 12 or 13 during that movement, so that the bearing closure can be opened or closed. The operation is further analogous to that of the embodiment of Figures 1 and 2.
Figure 6 shows a further variant in which the collar 14 is provided on the outer wall of the plate 4 and the collar 13 is provided on a protrusion 22 of the plate 4. It is clear here that in this embodiment no slotted hole is provided in which the collars are provided. The operation is further analogous to that of the embodiment of Figures 1 and 2.
The bearing clamping according to the invention is applicable to any type of weaving machine containing a warp beam or cloth boom, such as, for example, an air weaving machine, a rapier weaving machine, a water weaving machine, a projectile weaving machine or a multi-phase weaving machine.
The bearing clamp weaving machine according to the invention is of course not limited to the exemplary embodiments described in the figures and can be realized within the scope of the invention in various other shapes and sizes.
