<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

"Leaflet or the like for checking the results of a lottery game of the lotto type"
This invention relates to a folder or the like for checking the results of a lottery game of the lotto type.
Forms that allow checking a winning lotto number combination with the combinations played by the player are known. Usually such forms have an elongated opening through which each of the played combinations can be read in turn. Only a played combination can be read through the elongated opening and above or below this elongated opening there is a row of boxes in which the winning combination can be noted. The same goes for the z. "Joker".
Such a form is not very clear and does not provide space for noting down the winning numbers from several played combinations.
The object of the invention is to remedy this drawback and to prescribe a folder or the like which is at the same time very clear and allows immediate comparison with the registered figures from the played combination with the winning combination.
In order to make this possible in accordance with the invention, a sheet is provided with a translucent window, the dimensions of which correspond to those of the lottery ticket printed on the lottery ticket and
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
player played number combination, which translucent window is printed with a grid so that each of the numbers from a number combination fits into a box, while the form contains a series of boxes in which the player can note the winning number combination.
According to the invention, the material from which the translucent window is made permits the application of marks, in this case crosses.
In the same vein, the folder according to the invention has a second similar window that allows the comparison between the played wild card figure and the winning wild card figure.
Other details and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following description of a leaflet or the like for checking the results of a lottery game of the lotto type according to the invention. This description is given by way of example only and does not limit the invention. The reference numbers refer to the attached figures.
Figure 1 shows the folder or the like according to the invention with a lottery ticket that can still be slid into or behind the folder.
Figure 2 shows the folder or the like in the operating state.
The leaflet presented by these figures can in principle take any form. By using a folder, which means two sheets 1 and 2 connected by a fold line, the lottery form 3 can be placed in the right place in the folder.
The folder has a transparent window 4 on which a grid 5 is printed. The grid
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
creates a number of boxes through which, in a horizontal sense, various numerical combinations can be read that the player has played. The twelve number combinations that appear on the lottery ticket shown here are indicated by reference 6. Above the transparent window 4 there are a series of boxes 7 in which the winning combination is noted.
It is then very easy for the player to compare the different combinations played by him with the winning combination.
The numbers belonging to the winning combination are then transferred with crosses. Depending on the game rules, a certain sum can be won from three crosses in a horizontal row.
Below the translucent window 4, a second smaller window, 8, is cut out in the form for comparison with the winning wildcard figure.
The folder or the like according to the invention therefore offers the advantage that the player can immediately mark the figures he has played on the transparent material of which the window 4 consists in the grid arranged thereon, and always in a horizontal sense. Thus, notes must be transferred to another medium. The folder according to the invention therefore offers the advantage over existing systems that it provides an immediate overview of the winning combination.
Of course, the invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and changes could be made thereto without departing from the scope of the patent application.
