fraktie van een warenhuis volgens de uitvinding ;
Figuur 2 op grotere schaal detail II van figuur l ;
Figuur 3 op grotere schaal detail III van figuur 2 ;
Figuur 5 een met figuur 3 overeenkomende doorsnede door een ander warenhuis volgens de uitvinding gebouwd volgens hetzelfde systeem ;
Slechts
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>

DEPARTMENT HOUSE, CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM AND GOOD PROFILE FOR IT
The invention relates to a department store as indicated in the preamble of claim 1.
In the known department store, the rainwater gutter is mainly formed by the bottom parts of the roof surfaces which are located on either side of the gutter.
The translucent plates, usually glass plates, are contaminated by this, so that they often have to be cleaned and / or obstruct light.
In other department stores, the top wall of the gutter profile is provided with holes in such a way that the rainwater immediately flows into the boiler room and is drained there together with condensation.
Since the condensation is often contaminated in such a way that it cannot be drained into the groundwater, it is often difficult to combine rainwater and condensation.
The invention provides a department store with a gutter profile, which can discharge rainwater and condensation separately and in which roof pollution is prevented.
To this end, the department store according to the invention has the feature of one of claims 1 to 5.
The invention also provides a building system according to claim 6. If desired, aluminum or steel gutter profiles can then be used. The other elements of the construction system are identical for a department store with steel gutter and a department store with aluminum gutter. This facilitates the building of the two types of department stores.
The invention also provides a gutter profile intended for a department store and / or a building system according to the invention.
The invention will be elucidated in the following description with reference to a drawing. The drawing schematically shows:
Figure 1 shows a perspective view of a

fraction of a department store according to the invention;
Figure 2 on a larger scale detail II of figure 1;
Figure 3 on a larger scale detail III of figure 2;
Figure 4 on a larger scale detail IV of figure 1i
Figure 5 shows a cross-section corresponding to Figure 3 through another department store according to the invention built according to the same system;
Figures 6 and 7 figures corresponding to figure 3 and 5 respectively, concerning another department store according to the invention; and
Figure 8 shows a figure corresponding to figure 7 concerning yet another department store according to the invention.
The department store 1 of figure 1 comprises columns 2 and trusses 3 and gutters 4 supported by them, which carry roofs 5.
The roofs 5 comprise rods 6, ridge profiles 7 and glass plates 8 (which also include light-transmitting plastic plates).
The gutters 4 consist of pieces of gutter profile 9 which are mutually coupled by means of a gutter coupling 10 of figure 4.
The gutter profile 9 comprises a closed tube 11, the top wall 12 of which forms the bottom of a rainwater gutter 13, in that side walls 14 thereof extend upwards from the top wall 12 to a level 15, where the bottom edges of glass plates 8 are incorporated in gutter edge profiles 16 of plastic which engage downward and inwardly directed flanges 17 of the gutter profile 9.
The passage of the rainwater gutter 13 is at least 10 cm2 and is preferably of the order of 25 cm2. The passage is chosen such that, for example, with a slope of + 2%. and with a horizontally measured roof surface indicated on this gutter length f of, for example, 65 m and a gutter distance b of 4 mm, that is to say at 260 m2, horizontally measured roof surface indicated on this gutter length, approximately 80% of the total amount of precipitation through the rainwater gutter 13 between the level 15 and the top surface 12 can be discharged. Only
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
in heavy rain showers, the rainwater will rise to the top surface 18 of glass plates 8. Then this water is pure and even the glass plates 8 rinse slightly clean.
Contaminated slowly flowing rainwater is discharged within the above level difference.
In figure 1, the department store 1 has two gutter lengths f = 1/2 C over the distance C between two vertical discharge pipes 19 at locations E, which have to process rainwater from the horizontal surface at the roof surface between two consecutive gutters 4. At location D the gutters 4 are mounted higher than at E, so that the gutters 4 have a slope of + 2% ... In the example of figures 1-3, the slope is 8 to 10 mm between each column distance k; the length f = 65 mi the ridge distance R = 4 m.
The passage of the rainwater gutter 13 is approximately 25 cm2 to process 260 m2 of rainwater surface.
The gutter edge profile 16 has a downwardly directed flange 23, which flows smoothly against the outside of the side wall 14, such that condensation is discharged from the underside of the glass plates 8 through the gutter edge profile 16 on that outside, so that the condensation into a condensation collection trough 24 ends up. Holes 25 have been drilled there from place to place, so that the condensation flows into the tube space 26, which serves as a condensation drain. The condensation is thus drained separately from the rainwater to a condensation drain 27.
The gutter profile 9 is very strong because of its tubular shape. The bending resistance is further increased thanks to the rather thick-walled flanges 17 and the thick-walled bottom wall 29.
The gutter coupling 10 of figure 4 comprises aluminum inner strips 30 which are received between inner flanges 31, an aluminum outer shell 32, two inner shells 33 arranged in the rainwater gutter 13, self-tapping screw bolts 34 and screw bolts 35.
Optionally, steel rod profiles are 36 or aluminum
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
Aluminum rod profiles 37 (figure 5) can be attached to the outside of the side walls 14 using identical plastic rod blocks 38, using self-tapping screws 39. These rod blocks 38 can be attached to them by means of screws 40 which protrude through holes 41 of the rod ends and have cavities. 42 for receiving the inwardly directed flanges 43 of rod profiles 36. Namely, the rod blocks 38 fit both in the inner spaces 44 and 45 of the rod profiles 36 and 37, respectively. The rod profile 36 is completed into rod 6 by a glass strip profile 46 of plastic, of which resilient hooks 47 (figure 5) engage flanges 43.
The aluminum gutter profile 9 of figure 3 is interchangeable with the steel gutter profile 49 of figure 5.
To that end, its bottom wall 50 has the same shape as the bottom wall 29 and the gutter profile 49 has inwardly flanged flanges 51 conformed to the flanges 17 and at the same mutual distance and at the same distance from the bottom wall 50 and 29, respectively, as the gutter profile 9.
A department store 1 can therefore be built with the same columns 2, the same rods 6, the same glass plates 8 and the same rod blocks 38. The columns 2 have a support shell 52 adapted to the bottom walls 29. Below this is a recess 53 for the case receiving a condensation gutter 54 from a steel gutter profile 49. Condensate flows from flange 23 along the outside of the gutter profile 49 into the condensation gutter 54.
Figures 6 and 7 show mutually interchangeable gutter profiles 60 and 70 of aluminum and steel, respectively, in which rods 6 are fixed by means of identical rod blocks 61 and identical gutter edge profiles 62.
The gutter profile 60 has a rainwater gutter 13 between the level 15 and the top wall 12, which in this case is V-shaped, so that a wheel of a maintenance trolley or cleaning trolley driving thereon is better centered.
The rods 6 engage in figures 6 and 7 around the top
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
edges 64 of the gutter profiles, so that the gutter edge profile 62 bridges some height of the rainwater gutter 13.
Figure 8 shows yet another gutter profile 80 according to the invention which has an outwardly directed thick flange 81. Two alternative rod blocks 82 and 83 are shown here.
The rod profiles 36 or 37, with rod blocks 38,89 inserted and fastened therein, are attached to gutter profiles or ridge profiles 7.
