Buisklem.
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
monteren.
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
De uitvinding wordt nu nader toegelicht aan de hand van de tekening, waarin : Fig. l een langsdoorsnede toont over een buisverbinding met een buisklem volgens de uitvinding ;
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>

Pipe clamp.
The invention relates to a pipe clamp for holding a pipe formed of a number of mutually unequal outer diameters, pipe pieces, in particular a flue gas discharge pipe, enclosing the pipes to be held, in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the tubes to be connected with a slit ring, the two ends of which are bent out and can be pressed together.
Such pipe clamps have a ring of a substantially constant diameter and are therefore only suitable for fixing a pipe piece of a permanent diameter. Such clamps therefore present various problems with pipes formed from a number of parts, in particular flue gas discharge pipes. For example, with pipes composed of a number of pipe pieces, it is hardly possible to direct the pipe pieces precisely coaxially to one another
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
assemble. This now leads, for example, to undesired leaks with flue gas discharge pipes.
The object of the invention is to avoid these drawbacks and to provide a pipe clamp of the type described above, which permits a good sealing of a pipe formed from separate, inserted pipe pieces, also when deviations between the coaxial position of the individual pipe pieces present.
According to the invention this is achieved in that the ring has a stepped diameter.
This makes it possible to arrange the proposed pipe clamp in the region of the bumper between pipes which have been pushed together. On the one hand, it is hereby possible to clamp the two mutually projecting pipe pieces together tightly, whereby the coaxial position of the two pipe pieces, at least in the region of the connection point, can be strongly enforced. Moreover, the proposed pipe clamp also has a highly sealing effect, since it extends over the gap remaining between the outer and the inner pipe.
According to a further inventive feature, it can be provided that the stepped part is conical
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
The difference in diameter in the region of the stepped portion corresponds to the wall thickness of the larger of the two tubes to be retained.
These measures ensure that, when the bent ends thereof are pressed together, the pipe clamp can orient itself so that the cylindrical part with the larger diameter can rest firmly against the associated pipe with the largest diameter, so that a good seat of the pipe clamp is ensured.
Furthermore, in order to increase the rigidity of the pipe clamp, provision may be made for the part of the pipe clamp having the small diameter to have a flare in the region of the end face of this part.
According to a further feature of the invention, it is provided that in the region of the two different diameters of the ring, the bent ends have devices, for example bores through which screws can pass, for clamping the pipe clamp, the bent ends being in the area of the stepped portion may be provided with slits extending to the bending side of the ends.
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
These measures ensure that the two pipe sections can be loaded independently with an appropriate pressure. Moreover, this simplifies the manufacture, while the material of the pipe clamp is deformed less when it is deformed into a clamp.
In the case of a pipe connection with a pipe clamp according to the invention arranged in the region of the connection of two pipe pieces, it can further be provided that the stepped part of the pipe clamp is arranged in the region of the end of the largest pipe, wherein further provision may be made for the pipe clamp to be welded, preferably by spot welding, to one of the two pipes which have been put together, preferably the largest pipe being welded to the associated part of the pipe clamp.
As a result, a further improvement of the sealing of the connection point between two pipe pieces is obtained and the reliability of this connection is considerably increased.
The invention will now be explained in more detail with reference to the drawing, in which: 1 shows a longitudinal section through a pipe connection with a pipe clamp according to the invention;
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
Fig. 2 shows a part of a cross-section of the connection according to FIG. 1; Fig. 3 shows a detail of a longitudinal section through a pipe clamp modified with respect to FIG. 1; and FIG. 4 shows a longitudinal section of a further variant of a pipe connection.
According to Fig. 1, the two tubes 1 and 2, which have a different diameter, are inserted into each other.
A pipe clamp 3 is arranged to connect these two pipes 1, 2.
It comprises a split ring 4, which has two cylindrical parts 5, 6 of different diameters, which are connected to each other via a conical stepped part 7. This stepped part compensates for the difference in the outer diameter of the two tubes 1, 2 put together.
The cylindrical part 5 with the largest diameter lies firmly against the end of the tube 1.
The two ends 8 of the open ring 4 are bent outwards and run substantially parallel to each other.
These ends 8 are provided with bores 9, each of which serves to receive a screw 11 which is
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
provided with a nut for clamping the clamp 5.
A slit 10 may be arranged between the ends 8 associated with the two cylindrical parts 5,6 and extend to the bending side of the ends 8.
In the variant according to Fig. 3, a widening 12 is provided in the region of the free end of the smallest diameter part 4, whereby the stiffness of the clamp is increased accordingly.
According to Fig. 4, the cylindrical part 5 of the pipe clamp 4 is welded to the pipe 1 by spot welding, which improves the retention of the pipe clamp on the pipe 1 and the sealing of the connection of the two pipes 1 and 2 by the pipe clamp 3 is improved.
