Abstract

This is a toy that operates by making a disc or other shape rotate around acentral axle by means of a twisted and rolled-up string that goes round twovertical spindles on top of a disc. These spindles are symmetrically placedabout the centre of the disc. If the central axle has been made in a hollowshape, then it is possible to set more spinning discs rotating and stack themon top, so that the energy of the top disc is always transferred to theentire stack.

  BESCHRIJVING -------------- Het is een speeltuig met als mogelijkheden : a. Een voorwerp aan het draaien brengen op een centra- le spil (fig 2) dmv een touw dat opgerold wordt rond twee spillen (fig 1 & 2) Het   touw   wordt eenmaal getwist. b. Een holle spil die het mogelijk maakt verschillende draaischijven in elkaar te brengen tijdens het draai- en (fig 3) Figuur 1 geeft in bovenaanzicht de draaischijf weer met de twee vertikale spillen (2) en de plaatsing van het touw   (1)   Figuur 2 geeft het vooraanzicht weer van de draaischijf met de plaatsing van de spillen (2) en van de onderste centrale spil waarrond de schijf draait. 



  Figuur 3 geeft in vooraanzicht de stapelmogelijkheden van een draaischijf met een holle centrale spil.
