Abstract

Un trépan (10) est fait de pièces forgées usinées (40) assemblées par soudage et comprenant un corps supérieur (12) et un bras inférieur (16). Le bras inférieur forme un talon et un tourillon qui supporte un organe de coupe conique (20) dont le trajet détermine le diamètre effectif du trépan. Le corps supérieur (12) présente un bossage stabilisateur (30) qui s'étend jusqu'au diamètre déterminé par les organes de coupe. Plusieurs mises rapportées en diamant polycristallin sont montées dans chaque bossage stabilisateur.
