L'invention est relative h un sifflet h eau servant AL reproduire des chants d'oiseaux qui convient surtout comme jouet d'enfant et qui, dans une forme de réalisation particuliere, peut servire de garniture.
L'invention consiste principalement en un sifflet à eau reproduisant des chants d'oiseaux variables ou modulables, celui-ci, est entièrement constitua en la matière de terre ou argile qui subissant une cuisson à température élevée, change de texture et devient impermeuble.
Elles comprend, mise A part cette disposition, une autre disposition principale, et necessaire pour reproduire les chants d'oiseaux et dont-il sera plus explicitement parlé ci-apres --et en meme temps qu tà faire comporter au corps de sifflet une chambre de résonance, présentant une embouchure & l'une de ses extremitea et pourvue, dans sa face latérale d'une entaille biseauté communiquant avec l'exterieur et formant l'ouverture génératrice du son-- & ce qu'une partie du sifflet (la panse de la verseuse) soit rempli par de l'eau, propre A permettre des variations ou modulations de la chambre de résonance et, par conséquent, de la tonalité du chant dmis par le sifflet.
Le sifflet conforme à l'invention est entièrement fabriqud en terre cuite ou grés, celui-ci, à la forme d'une verseuse style epoque Antique (cafetibre & poignée droite).
Le bec verseur représente le corps du sifflet proprement dit, qui d'une manière en soi connue, est constitue selon le principe du tuyau d'orgue, sous forme de cone oblique, de section circulaire ou ovale ou de prisme & section polygonale.

Ce corps de sifflet est traversé suivant sa direction longitudinale, par la chambre de résonance (celleei est prolongée par l'épaulement, le col et trouve une sortie au goulot de 1a verseuse) qui, de préférence, a une section semi-circulaire et dans laquelle aboutit une entaille traversant la paroi laterale du corps conique du bec de la verseuse, cette entaille rectiligne se raccorde quant A elle en sa partie la plus profonde à la paroi du cone qui, en cet endroit, est biseautée vers le bas, formant ainsi, de manibre connue, l'ouverture génératrice de son du sifflet.
Conformément à l'invention, cette ouverture aboutit dans la panse de la verseuse, que l'on remplit d'eau par le goulot, en laissant vide 1'épaulement et le col de la verseuse qui, aboutissent vers une ouverture de

Le courant d'air issu de l'embouchure (bec de la verseuse) stéchappe ainsi en partie directement de l'ouverture laterale du corps du sifflet, tandis que l' autre partie du souffle d'air rentre en contact avec l'eau et provoque le bouillonnement de celle-ci, de telle façon que les fréquences, à la rencontre de la partie non déviée du courant d'air, interferent ce qui fait varier 1a tonalité du sifflet.
