Abstract

The invention relates to an image processing system, comprising an image recording device (10) with an imaging device (11) and an imaging surface (16); and a digital image storing device. A beam deviation device (17) with a reflecting surface (20) that is configured in the form of a cone envelope is located before the imaging device (11) in a beam path (22) which strikes the image surface (16). The axis of symmetry (21) of said reflecting surface is arranged in a defined manner in relation to the optical axis (18) of the image recording device (10). The image storing device is provided with a transformation device for transforming the projection of the cone surface produced on the imaging surface (16) by the beam deviation device (17) into an image file with image points projected onto the plane. The system is used for determining the profile of a cavity, and a panorama.
