Abstract
The invention describes a foam composition which has a low thermal conductivity and is sufficiently flexible when in place to allow the retraction of the inner production column when necessary. Independent claims are also included for a method of thermal insulation in which the annular space between an inner well production tube and the outer casing is filled with particles of a vegetable foam material, the installation of the foam, the vegetable foam composition and its preparation
