Abstract

The invention relates to a method of separating polyolefinic synthetic mixtures, based on a polyolefinic synthetic fraction or a synthetic mixture as the starting material. According to the inventive method, said starting material is contacted with a solvent and the temperature of the solvent/synthetic mixture is adjusted in such a manner that a solution with at least one dissolved polymer type is formed. The dissolved polymer type is sheared and precipitated from the solution in order to separate the polymer type from the other components of the solution. The invention is especially useful for processing mixed synthetics and synthetic scraps.
