Abstract

The toilet for cats has a lower part (10) in form of a vessel open at the top, a bag (16) filled with litter for cats that can be placed in the lower part and can be replaced; its closing section (18) which lies on top after the bag (16) has been placed in the lower part (10); which, upon opening of the bag (16) can be turned outward over the upper circumferential edge of the lower part (10), and after the period of use of the cat litter (14) is over, can be folded together to permit at least partial provisional closing of the bag (16); of an upper part (12), which can be placed upon or separated from the lower part after the closing section (18) of the bag (16) has been turned out, in order to cover the upper edge region of the lower part (10) and to secure the turned-out closing section (18) of the bag (16) on the upper circumferential edge of the lower part (10); characterized by the fact that the lower part (10) has essentially the form of a rectangular box; that the upper part (12) is essentially in the form of a rectangular frame; that the bag (16) is in the form of a flat rectangular box whose outer measurements correspond essentially to the inner measurements of the lower part (10); foil package with bags particularly suited for use with such toilets for cats; as well as the process for manufacture of the same.
