Abstract

Polymerisation of olefins in a low-boiling suspension medium, in particular propane, and dissipation of the heat of reaction by evaporative cooling in the presence of a metallocene catalyst gives polyolefin waxes without wall deposits being able to impair the cooling of the reactor. <IMAGE>
