Abstract
An anchoring device has an anchoring rod (10), an anchoring head and at least one frictionally connected optical fibre (11) with at least one integrated Bragg grid (120-124) for measuring strains and/or forces in the walls of cavities. A shift in a characteristic grid reflection wavelength can be sensed with each Bragg grid (120-124). Buckling, elongation or deformation of the anchoring rod and thus force and strain alterations and/or displacements in a cavity wall can be derived therefrom.
