Abstract

The invention relates to a method for computing and displaying 2D- or 3D- spatial differences for medical diagnosis, research or medical equipment. According to said method, it is possible to compute, store and display relative positions of volume elements of at least one object, said elements being detected through digitisation achieved by an image formation method, whereby at least one reference structure and generally into complete volume elements of said reference are formed. The invention is characterised in that the volume elements of at least two objects are detected by a computer-aided system, said elements resulting from digitisation of the image formation method. The paths followed by the volume elements of the initial volume relatively to the reference volume elements are computed by a linearised displacement model, by a multiframe digital method adapted to said displacement model, by forces based on grey values and/or with several resolution stages of the digitised volumes.
