Abstract
The present invention pertains to a rotary piston regulating device (1) intended for measuring flowable or pourable material, either powdery or granulous. In a cylinder casing (4), a rotary piston is arranged so as to form, in the area of the peripheral surface (18), so tight an area in relation to the cylinder inner surface (6) that, when the cylinder is rotating for each cycle, a working chamber (22) is defined - extending from an inlet area (8) - to receive a certain volume of said material. In order for the volume fed to the working chamber (22) to be modulated, a regulating valve (6) radially adjustable relative to the cylinder casing (4) causes the opening (W) of a slot (40) situated between the rotary piston (14) and the piston-oriented valve end (36) to vary. For intermittent adjustment of the feed slot (40) in each cycle, the valve (36) is radially actuated in both directions by means of a control member (42) depending on the rotary piston rotation (14).
