Description
AUSTRALIA
Patents Act 1990 COMPLETE SPECIFICATION STANDARD PATENT DISMOUNTABLE THERMOSTATIC PARTITION WALLS The following statement is a full description of this invention, including the best method of performing it known to me: This invention relates to build partition walls, in a easy, practical and faster way, may be pre-made and ready to be install, to suit any type of structure (offices, shops, factories, medical centres, etc).
This lightweight partition walls are dismountable, they can be remove and reinstall in another type of structure.
:i:Dismountable thermostatic partition walls may be made off Australian standard materials, such as *MDF board and *EPS panels, bond togheter with Red Spray Styrene Foam (glue).
Aluminium channels (an Australian Standard Product): May be attached to existing floor and/or ceiling, to 'fit and support partitions in place.
:'The following are the description of the products use to build this walls.
*MDF Boards: Medium Density Fibraboards, manufactured as pressed boards ranging in thickness from 2.5 mm to 38mm, they are made from wood fibres which are bonded together with urea formaldehyde resin.
*EPS panels: Expanded Polystyrene Insulation, it is a light weight cellular plastic material consisting of fine :spherical shaped particles which are comprised of 98 air. This air is trapped within a number of closed hollow .cells in each particle, this material is durable, it will not rot and is highly resistant to mildew, it also provides no nutritional value to ants, termites and rodents. This boards also contain a fire retardant additive.
S*.:In one form of the invention the partition will be made of one EPS panel bond to MDF boards to both sides.
In another form of the invention, the partition will be made of MDF board bond to a layer of EPS, a layer of mineral fibra as an acoustic sound barrier, bond to another layer of EPS and bond to MDF board.
To assist with understanding the invention, reference will now be made to the accompanying drawings which shows one example of the invention.
IP Australia Documents received on: 12 MAY 2001 Batch No: 0 o O In the drawings: FIG. 1: Shows an example of Dismountable thermostatic panels (shown from the above), before fitting them together.
Panel A: Showns EPS panel bond to both sides to MDF boards which are 60 mm longer than EPS panel, for two purposes, to leave a 20 mm cavity for cabling (data cables, phone line, electricity cables) and for Panel B to slide inn and connect to Panel A, this cavity can be situated, in one or both sides.
Panel B: Showns EPS panel bond both sides to MDF board which are 40 mm shorter (in one or both sides) than EPS panel, the purpose of this is for Panel B to slide inn and connect to Panel A.
FIG. 2: Shows an example (shown from the above) of Aluminium Channels use for support and fitting of the partitions, this channels will be install to ceiling and/or floor and also will be use as skirtings.
FIG. 3 Shows an example (shown from the above) of the Acoustic Sound Barrier, fitted on the center of the panel. This is made of mineral fibra, a product use in Acoustic ceiling tiles.
This may be improve the Acoustic Sound.
Referring to FIG 1.
I t can be seen that the Dismountable Thermostatic Partitions, Panel A, consist in a MDF panel board attached a EPS panel attached to MDF board, leaving an empty space between MDF boards of 60 mm for :i*panel B to fit inn and also for cabling. Panel B consist in MDF panel board attached to EPS 40 mm longer than MDF panels (to fit inn panel A) attached to MDF panel board.
Referring to FIG 2.
shows Aluminium Channels may be use to maintain this panels in place. The dimension (10 11) may be mm deep x 80 mm wide x 3 mm thick.
*..'Referring to FIG 3.
Can be seen that Panel A comprise of MDF panel (12) bond to EPS, bond to Acoustic Mineral Fibra bond to EPS (15) bond to another MDF panel, providing this panels with a better Acoustic Sound.
ABSTRACT
A Dismountable Thermostatic Partition wall is disclosed. The wall is a sandwich panel consisting on a panel of EPS with both sides attached to MDF boards (1 3) which are longer than EPS panel, leaving a cavity of 60 mm, for Panel B to fit inn. Panel B consist on a panel of EPS both sides attached to MDF boards 7) which are shorter than EPS panel, leaving a projection of 40 mm.
Dismountable Thermostatic Partition with Acoustic Sound Barrier (14) has a thin layer of mineral fibra fitted in between of two EPS panel (13
