Abstract

A coating foil (2) of deep-drawable material with an inner region (6) surrounded by an edge (3) is to be designed so that it is suitable as a supporting surface for components or substrates (1) in which the risk of slipping is likely under the action of any force. This is attained in that the surface (5) of the coating foil (2) or an intermediate layer applied thereto, especially a decorative layer (14), is coated with an anti-slip material (4) about 10 to 400 mu m thick.
