Abstract

The invention relates to an offshore wind power installation, comprising a float (1) which supports one or more wind power converters (2). The float (1) is anchored on the ocean floor or on the bottom of another body of water and can be rotated, using one or more cables (3). The float (1) lies below the surface of the water, in order to protect a wind power installation of this type against the motion of the ocean.
