Abstract

The plastic pouring spout is designed to screw onto the neck of a plastic or metal container to improve the pouring ability and reduce the incidence of spillage and splash back during decanting. The design incorporates a threaded neck on the end of the pouring spout onto which a cap (closure) can be fitted. This allows the user to seal the contents without removing the pouring spout.
