Abstract
The invention relates to a composition for the fabrication of a film at least partially biodegradable. The film is intended to form a package or to be bonded to at least one wall of a package-forming support. Said composition is comprised of a mixture consisting of a hydrocolloid-based material, particularly of algal origin, and of one or a plurality of other components selected amongst stabilizers and stiffeners, said other component or components conferring to the film mechanical resistance properties. The invention also relates to a film obtained from said composition.
