Device comprising a first electrode assembly (2) associating a first electrode (9) with a first container (10) enclosing the active ingredient, a second electrode assembly (3) associating a second electrode (11) with a second container (12) enclosing an electrolyte, at least one of the electrodes (9, 11) being an Ag/AgCl electrode, an ionophoretic electric signal generator (1) which can be connected to the electrodes and a unit (4) for monitoring the transcutaneous delivery of an active ingredient. The device of the invention is for controlling the transcutaneous delivery of active ingredients.
