Abstract

The cooking appliance for table use is composed of a frame with a horizontal baseplate (1) through which at its periphery three uniformly distributed columns (2) pass in such a manner that the baseplate (1) stands on a tripod. A grate (17) rests on the ends of the columns for carrying the cooking pot (5). Placed on the upper ends of the columns (2) is a grill plate (4) made of aluminium die casting and coated with a nonstick material, which has a hole (22) of approximately half the diameter of the grill plate (4). A cooking pot (5) made of chromium-nickel steel sits in this hole (22) on the star grate (17). The appliance makes possible a multiplicity of combinations of simultaneous grilling/frying and cooking/braising/keeping food warm. <IMAGE>
