Abstract

A safety subassembly has a bent, U-shaped earth contacting metal sheet (22) which is slipped with its rear side on a carrier assembly (17, 18) provided with surge arresters (20). Resilient tongues (21) are cut out of the resilient metal sheet (22) and project from its front side towards its rear side, making it easier to slip the earth contacting metal sheet (22) on the carrier assembly (17, 18).
