Abstract

The invention concerns the use of at least one substance, which may be phenylethyl barbituric acid, papaverine, belladonna extract or theobromine, mixed with an agent for promoting peripheral blood circulation, e.g. khellin (5,8-dimethoxy-2-methylfuro-[4',5':6,7]-chromone), khellin derivatives, pentifyline, cinnerizine, xanthinol nicotinate or Extr. Ginkgo bil. or quercetine (3.5.7.3'.4' pentaoxyflavone) and/or an agent for promoting central blood circulation, e.g. erythrol tetranitrate, isosorbide dinitrate, isosorbide mononitrate, nitroglycerin or nitropentaerythrolum for the manufacture of a drug for stabilizing or normalizing the metabolism and/or the immune system in patients with metabolic disorders, such as diabetics, in particular those obliged to take insulin.
