Abstract

The invention relates to an external building material for constructions with a structural part and with an outer surface that is activated to catalytically decompose atmospheric pollutants. Said outer surface carries a catalytically active solid, said catalytic solid having an absorption factor of at least 0.2. The catalytically active solid is distributed in the volume of the structural part in a homogeneous manner.
