Abstract
A set of nucleotide probes for determining HLA DR types and/or related types by means of commonly used typing techniques using oligonucleotides, wherein said set of probes includes at least the following nucleotide probes (the underligned portion represents the optimal sequence) (I). Said probes may be labelled, covalently coupled to a ligand which facilitates their attachment to a solid support, or attached to a solid support. The use of the probes in a HLA DR typing method, e.g. as capture probes according to the sandwich technique, is also described.
