Abstract
The invention relates to a device for connecting a wire communication device and a mobile communication device with a wire communication device on the one hand or with a mobile communication device on the other hand via at least one wire network and/or via at least one mobile telephone network. The aim of the invention is to reduce the time required to establish a connection, the number of 'engaged' cases, other disturbances as well as the telephone charges. To this end the invention provides for an electronic selection device, which on the basis of the network code entered as well as defined performance and cost characteristics of the available wire networks and mobile telephone networks automatically establishes the connection between the communication devices concerned via the technologically most advanced and/or most cost-efficient networks.
