EE DESCRIPTION
Title of Invention
DIGITAL SERVICE-BASED PAWN TRANSACTION SYSTEM
Technical Field of Invention
[0001]
This invention relates to a digital service-based pawn
transaction system. Specifically, it relates to a system that
facilitates customers in choosing products or services, making
installment payments, or repaying the collateral items
digitally without necessarily visiting the pawnshop outlet
(counter).
Background Art
[0002]
As the technology and customers' situation develop,
pawnshop companies, which have received increasing interest
from the society, need to develop their service. In recent
years, it has been familiar that customers have to visit a
pawnshop office (outlet/counter) in order to do transactions;
such activity is considered as ineffective and brings
difficulties to customers which causes many unpaid
installments and unresolved repayments of collateral items.
Not only customers that suffer from such situation, but also
the pawnshop companies experience losses due to the complex
transaction procedures with long queue and time consumption.
[0003] Pawnshop companies have initiated the utilization of
computer and network/internet technology, however, it is
merely to accelerate the pawn service, or in other words, it
is only a one-way service, that is, the customers are not able to interact with the pawnshop offices. Interactions are only made available between the pawnshop's headquarter and branch offices, but no effective customer service is involved therein.
The applications or programs are not yet connected to
customers, so that the transactions still does not run
smoothly. At the same time, the development of electronic,
computer, mobile phone technologies, and others have rapidly
increased and they have been utilized as vital transaction
tools that are cross-boundaries, time, and condition.
[0004]
Recently, there are also many financial service, trade,
and transportation companies that have utilized these
electronic and digital technologies.
[0005] Our previous Indonesian patent number IDP000067592 (02
24-2020) discloses an integrated pawn reporting and
transaction system. The integrated pawn reporting and
transaction system comprises a Data Center server, RIM
(Reconcile Information Management) server, and MIS (Management
Information System) server. The Data Center server operates to
perform transactions, validation, valuation/appraisal,
payment, and repayment. RIM (Reconcile Information Management)
server operates to conduct reconciliation, which is to compare
data of transactions from partners with the internal data. MIS
(Management Information System) server operates to generate
internal and external reporting. Further, Data Center server
and MIS (Management Information System) server have various
modules.
[0006] The US patent number US 11018851 B2 (Pankaj Sari, Elkhom,
NE (US)) discloses the systems and methods of multi-blockchain
digital transaction information segregation system that
receive a first digital transaction, which includes first and second digital transaction information through a network via broadcast by a first transaction device. A primary blockchain address provided on a primary blockchain is then identified in the digital transaction, and a smart contract that is stored on the primary blockchain in association with the primary blockchain address is accessed. The primary blockchain smart contract is then executed to cause the first digital transaction information to be stored on the primary blockchain, and the second digital transaction information to be stored on a secondary blockchain that is separate from the primary blockchain. In a specific example, the first digital transaction information identifies a physical property, and the second digital transaction information identifies a purchase price of the physical property.
[0007]
W02021/202474A1 discloses an automated method of checking
tor legitimacy during a digital asset transaction, including
by a customer, initiating a digital asset transaction,
receiving a wallet address corresponding to a wallet, checking
the wallet address against one or more databases, wherein said
one or more databases comprise wallet transaction history and
risk category information, determining if the wallet address
should be flagged as a suspicious transaction based on the
transaction history and risk category information stored in
the one or more databases, if the wallet address is flagged as
suspicious, rejecting the transaction and notifying the
customer of the rejection, or moving the digital assets to a
holding wallet for further checks, and if the wallet address
is not flagged as suspicious, releasing the digital assets and
proceeding with the transaction.
[0008] Based on the above descriptions, it has been identified
that the previous pawn transaction technologies are still segregated and are not easily and conveniently accessible by public.
