Description
A METHOD AND A SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATIC DETECTION OF DRUNK DRIVING IN A MOTOR VEHICLE
Technical Field
This invention relates to the technical field of automobile safety, more specifically, it
relates to a method and a system for automatic detection of drunk driving in a motor
vehicle.
Background
Existing drunk driving detection in a motor vehicle generally uses alcohol
concentration detection and facial image recognition for intelligent detection, but the
alcohol concentration detection is easily affected by the air flow in the car, the
breathing of the driver, and the alcohol carried by the passengers, which results in that
the alcohol concentration detection has defects such as avoidable detection and
detection error; similarly, the facial image recognition is easily affected by light
occlusion, different bodies of drivers, and mask wearing, which results in that the
facial image recognition also has defects such as avoidable detection and detection
error. Therefore, designing a method and a system for automatic detection of drunk
driving in a motor vehicle is a problem that we urgently need to solve at present.
