"SCREW JACK BASED HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE LAPTOP TABLE" Exemplary aspects of the present disclosure are directed towards the "SCREW JACK BASED HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE LAPTOP TABLE " consisting of Height Adjusting Arrangement (HAA) 001, Tilt adjusting arrangement (TAA) 002, and a Supporting Unit (SU) 003. Height Adjusting Arrangement (HAA) 001 comprises jacking mechanism 006, a top platform 100 placed on a Supporting Unit (SU) 003 and mounted on a solid base 200, which allows for the lift of the top platform 100. Supporting unit 003 is a double-cross structure 004 that can be operated by a detachable handle 005. The detachable handle 005, once rotated, advances the screw jack 006 to raise or lower the top platform 100. The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed.
DESCRIPTION TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present disclosure generally relates to tables. More particularly, the present invention relates to a screw jack based table that is lightweight, portable and versatile and is particularly suitable for supporting a laptop computer.
BACKGROUND
[0002] Without limiting the invention's scope, its background is described in connection with devices, structures, and methods relating to tables, supporting devices and means for laptop as an example.
[0003] In this pandemic, most people started work from home culture, which has resulted in the use of laptops. But the incorrect sitting postures while working on laptops for a long duration can cause various health hazards. The following are the few inventions that are related to the present invention.
[0004] In a prior art No. US8322290B1 disclosed about an invention titled A multi use table includes a tabletop; a pair of legs carried by the tabletop; and a mouse pad having a mouse pad body carried by the tabletop, a track ball mouse carried by the mouse pad body and an interface cable connected to the track ball mouse. The multi-use table can include a tilting tabletop having a tab, which is removably inserted into a slot within a table base. An angle support assembly is hingeably coupled to a center lower surface of the tilting tabletop. The angle support engages with a feature within the table base such that the tilting tabletop remains at an angle. An anti-slip material can be disposed upon the top surface of the tabletop for securing a laptop.

The drawing board is securable in various different inclined positions relative to the frame with the support assembly; but since the instrument tray is attached to the frame rather than to the drawing board, it remains stationary when the drawing board is repositioned relative to the frame. A rear member provides back and supports for the laptop once the laptop is placed on the present invention. A series of portholes in the rear member permit access to the ports on the laptop from the back of the present invention. A wrist pad provides support for the user's wrists. A retractable mouse tray extends out laterally from the main housing. A laterally adjustable document display means is located at the rear of the present invention, behind the rear member. A lighting means is powered by a rechargeable battery, the battery located in a power box against which the laptop computer rests. An on-off switch on the power box turns the lighting means on and off. A retractable AC power cord is located inside the rear member. Retractable and telescoping legs are positioned under the base support. A handle is used to carry the present invention when not in use.
[0007] In the prior art US6889952B2, disclosed an invention is directed to a portable easel having a frame and a display panel movably coupled to the frame. The panel is movable with respect to the frame in a longitudinal direction, and the panel is rotatable with respect to the frame from a first predetermined angular position to a second predetermined angular position.
[0008] Another Prior art FR3062994A1 presented a 2-sided shaped shaft fitted for any very large-size chart with a removable, height-adjusting system for table deserts and deserve racks wherein, Double-sided trestle device, mounted on wheels with brakes (2), adjustable and adjustable at will by multiple systems. The device allows the mobility of the double bridge and its use by a person on each side. Its footprint is reduced because of its base (1) and upright (3) in the form of a gallows. Its stability and leveling are achieved by a system of racks (11) making removable the positioning of tables of all sizes. A system of rails (12) at the top allows the attachment of paintings of any size including large dimensions or large triptychs. An upwardly tilting table support with a rear bumper wedge (17) is used to receive tables which are attached to the intermediate posts (14) to make them free and stable. A rack-serving figure 6 allows to receive tools, brushes and pots of paintings. The latter being each fixed to two consoles (15) cling on a system of racks (11 and 22) thus making them removable and adjustable from bottom to top. The concept of this double-sided easel can be realized and marketed in several dimensions according to the places and requests, in order to answer the needs of the users. This device according to the invention is particularly intended for artistic painting workshops of all specializations, schools of fine arts, to individual painters and galleries exhibition paintings.

The detachable handle 005, once rotated, advances the screw jack 006 to raise or lower the top platform 100.

Once rotated with the lever handle, this uni shaft assembly advances the twin-screw rods available in the tabletop platform on two sides. As the threads on all the screws, rods are precisely engraved, and rods are made of stainless steel. Each thread's length and breadth are designed in such a way that they not only handle the weight but also can give a smooth transition.

The two layers are closed on one side, and on the other side is an open position. At least one pin, and preferably a pair of pins, are provided, which are movable to an unextended position when the top is in the closed position and in which the pin or pins lies substantially parallel to the top and the base, and one or more extended positions. Each extended position corresponds to an open position of the top. The pin position can be adjusted to tilt the upper panel, and the pin or pins can be conveniently moved over the surface where grooves/slots are made.
[0031] In an embodiment, it is presented that the invention presented henceforth can be used as a laptop stand or a table. The feature of being smoothly height adjustable in non discrete steps is because of custom made screw threads which makes the movement and transition of the screw freely without any jerk. This design of screw threads allows for individual height and comfort based adjustment, unlike the discrete height-adjustable stands/tables available. The screw jack-based design enables the user to maintain the correct posture when working for long hours. The user can quickly re-adjust the height, maintaining personal comfort levels through an easily operatable handle attached to the table's side.

1. The SCREW JACK BASED HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE LAPTOP TABLE " comprises of, Height Adjusting Arrangement (HAA) 001, Tilt adjusting arrangement (TAA) 002, and a Supporting Unit (SU) 003; and Height Adjusting Arrangement (HAA) 001 comprises jacking mechanism 006, a top platform 100 placed on a Supporting Unit (SU) 003 and mounted on a solid base 200, which allows for the lift of the top platform 100; and Supporting unit 003 is a double-cross structure 004 that can be operated by a detachable handle 005. The detachable handle 005, once rotated, advances the screw jack 006 to raise or lower the top platform 100; and
The top platform 100 is a double-layered structure having two separate plates adjoined at one end, with the upper layer 100a having additional pin support for three-dimensional adjustment with 0 to 60 degrees tilt.
2. As claimed in claim 1, the device, wherein Supporting unit 003 is a double-cross structure 004 encompasses twin-screw steel rods operated by a single screw jack assembly. Once the lever handle is operated, the screew jack assembly advances and adjusts the height by changing two side screw rods'position.
