Universal auxiliary registration device for dental implant data
TECHNICAL FIELD
The invention relates to the technical field of dental technology, in particular to a
universal auxiliary registration device for dental implant data.
BACKGROUND
In the virtual plan of dental implant, it is necessary to register the optical scanning data of
the patient's mouth with the cone beam CT data, so that they can obtain the same three
dimensional coordinate system. In the actual process of registration, due to the large
number of missing teeth or the large number of metal restorations or implants in the
mouth of some patients, the optional registration feature points in the cone beam CT
images are insufficient or covered by metal artifacts, which interferes with the normal
registration process. At present, the following procedures are used in clinical data
registration in this kind of environment:
1) When a patient visits a doctor for the first time, a cone beam CT is taken, and the
doctor judges whether the patient can perform implant surgery according to the imaging
examination, and if so, enters the next step.
2) The doctor made the patient's oral impression and poured the plaster model.
3) The technician center makes the radiation template of acrylic resin material according
to the plaster model in the patient's mouth, and shoots cone beam CT or performs optical
scanning on the radiation template.
4) When the patient goes to see the doctor for the second time, he/she will be wearing a
radiation template to shoot the second cone beam CT.
) The technician center will register the cone beam CT taken by the patient for the
second time with the image or scanning data of the radiation template.
It can be seen that through the prior art, the patient needs to take cone beam CT twice,
which increases the radiation exposure of the patient in a short time. In addition, the
radiation template made of acrylic resin has the following shortcomings: personalized
production, extra production time, difficult fitting, multi-position, uneven mixing of
acrylic resin, bubbles inside and so on. Therefore, the existing technology needs to be
improved.
In order to solve the above technical problems. We propose a universal auxiliary
registration device for dental implant data.

device for dental implant data, which can effectively solve the problems mentioned in the
background.
In order to achieve the above purpose, the technical scheme adopted by the invention is
as follows:
A universal auxiliary registration device for dental implant data, which comprises a main
body, characterized in that the main body is provided with retention grooves for placing
and fixing upper and lower dentition, outline reference structures for providing outline
reference for registration inspection are arranged outside the main body, and the number
of retention grooves is two and respectively arranged on the main body. The main body
located at one side of the retention groove is also provided with a tongue containing
structure which is a blind groove conforming to the shape of the tongue, the retention groove is provided with a plurality of through grooves with different sizes, and two sides of the retention groove are provided with retaining structure. The retaining structure is used for increasing friction between the retention groove and silicone rubber in the retention groove. the main body is also internally provided with a radiation marking point for avoiding interference of metal artifacts in CT data to radiation marking points. the radiation marking point is a cylinder with a diameter of 2.5mm and a height of 2.5mm.
The retaining structure is of convex structure.
Furthermore, the radiation mark points are made of zinc oxide.
Furthermore, the radiation mark points are made of silicon nitride.
Furthermore, the radiation mark points are made of barium sulfate.
Furthermore, the radiation mark points are made of zirconia.
Furthermore, the retaining structure is a nail-shaped protrusion.
Furthermore, the retaining structure is a rounded rectangle.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following beneficial effects: the
interference of metal artifacts in CT data on radiation mark points can be avoided, which
provides enough and clear registration feature points for data registration. In addition, the
device is of universal design, which avoids personalized production flow and saves extra
production time. Patients can complete the acquisition of CT data required for registration
when wearing the device at first diagnosis, without taking CT for many times, thus
reducing the radiation suffered by patients.

As shown in Fig. 1-2, the universal auxiliary registration device for dental implant data
comprises a main body 1, wherein the main body 1 is provided with retention grooves 6
for placing and fixing upper and lower dentition. The outer side of the main body 1 is
provided with outline reference structures 2 for providing outline reference for
registration inspection. The number of the retention grooves 6 is two and are respectively
arranged on the upper and lower sides of the main body 1, and a tongue containing
structure 7 for accommodating tongue is also arranged on the main body 1 at one side of
the retention grooves 6. The tongue containing structure 7 is a blind groove conforming
to the shape of tongue, and the retaining groove 6 is provided with several through
grooves 4 with different sizes. The retaining structures 5 are arranged on both sides of the retaining groove 6 to increase friction between the retaining groove 6 and silicone rubber in the retaining groove 6. The retaining structures 5 and the through grooves 4 are used to prevent silicone rubber from falling off from the retaining groove 6. The main body 1 is also internally provided with radiation marking points 3 for avoiding interference of metal artifacts in CT data to radiation marking points, wherein the radiation marking points 3 are cylinders with a diameter of 2.5mm and a height of 2.5mm. The retaining structure 5 is a convex structure. The radiation marking points 3 are made of zinc oxide material, silicon nitride material, barium sulfate material or zirconia material, and the retaining structure 5 is a nail-shaped convex or rounded rectangular body for increasing friction.
The universal auxiliary registration device for dental implant data of the invention
comprises an auxiliary registration device main body 1 and radiation mark points 3
uniformly dispersed on the main body 1, wherein the auxiliary registration device can be
stably fixed between upper and lower dentition of a patient by a retention groove 6 in the
main body, metal artifacts are distributed horizontally in CT, and the radiation mark
points 3 outside the main body 1 are distributed between the upper and lower dentition of
the patient, so that interference of metal artifacts on radiation mark points in CT data can
be avoided. Besides, the silicone rubber in the retaining groove 6 can block the metal
artifacts to a certain extent, which provides enough and clear registration feature points
for data registration.
In addition, the device is of universal design, which avoids the personalized production
process and saves extra production time. When the patient first visits, the device can complete the acquisition of CT data required for registration, without taking CT for many times, thus reducing the radiation suffered by the patient.
In use, the uncured silicone rubber is placed in the retention groove 6 of the device, then
the patient is instructed to bite on the silicone rubber of the device with upper and lower
dentition, wait for 3-5 minutes for the silicone rubber to cure after the bite is stable, and
take the whole device out of the patient's mouth to complete the preparation work before
taking CT. When taking CT, the patient is instructed to re-bite the device between the
upper and lower dentition according to the bite marks of the silicone rubber in the device,
and then perform routine CT shooting operation after the bite is stable. After CT
shooting, the device was taken out of the patient's mouth. Export and save the captured
CT data in DICOM format, and complete the acquisition of CT data.
The through groove 4 can connect the silicone rubber in the upper and lower retention
grooves into a whole, and further prevent the silicone rubber from falling off. When
placing silicone rubber, it needs to be placed in the upper and lower retention grooves
respectively.
