Abstract

The invention provides a multifunctional joint device for post-tracheotomy oxygen uptake/moisturizing, belonging to the field of medical apparatus. The device is comprised of a hollow casing with an output pipejoint and two input pipe joints on its surface, the output pipe joint and the two input pipe joints can all communicate the inside of casing with outside. The two input pipe joints are used for connecting an oxygen inhalation tube or a moisturizing infusion tube. A clamping part for connecting with respiratory extension tube is sleeved on the outer end of the output pipe joint. The clamping part, which is made of rubber material, has inverted cone structure relative to output pipe joint described, its maximum size is bigger than the size of respiratory extension tube. 1/2 Figure 1

TECHNICAL FIELD
[01] The invention is related to the field of medical apparatus, in particular involves a multifunctional joint device for post-tracheotomy oxygen uptake and moisturizing
BACKGROUND
[02] In medical clinical, oxygen inhalation and airway moisturizing are operated simultaneously, which is an important method to treat and nurse post-tracheotomy patient. In practice, in order to synchronize oxygen inhalation and moisturizing, providing oxygen and moisture to patient's airway at the same time, it is common to insert the cut oxygen inhalation tube and infusion tube into the respiratory extension tube. The defects of this method is that it is not easy to fix the oxygen inhalation tube and infusion tube, and it is complicated to use adhesive tap for fixation of tube, moreover, the fixation is often done in haphazard manner, and it is difficult to remove the tape mark left on the tube, furthermore, the thin oxygen inhalation tube and infusion tube is easy to slip out of the respiratory extension tube, causing contamination, which increases the workload of medical care personnel.
[03] At present, in order to improve the defects described above, some medical workers have made some improvements on current method, such as, insert the oxygen inhalation tube into sputum suction tube to enlarge the width of inhalation tube, then insert the sputum suction tube into respiratory extension tube to provide oxygen, and in case of need, penetrating the percutaneous needle at the end of infusion tube into sputum suction tube for moisturizing with dripping, finally, the adhesive tape is used to fix the needle. Although this improvement can bring a better fixture, the needle used is a cause for concern for both patient and medical worker, and it does not comply with the prevailing idea of "Zero tolerance to needle". The other common improvement done is to insert both oxygen inhalation tube and infusion tube into humidifier bottle, then connecting humidifier bottle to respiratory extension tube, achieving the synchronized oxygen inhaling and moisturizing, comparing with the former method, this improvement can fix the oxygen inhalation tube and infusion tube, and complies with "Zero tolerance to needle", however, the size of humidifier bottle is too large to be placed easily.
SUMMARY
[04] In view of the above, it is necessary to provide a multifunctional joint device for post-tracheotomy oxygen uptake and moisturizing. The embedded crossover joint can connect both oxygen inhalation tube and infusion tube, synchronizing oxygen inhaling and moisturizing, it is easy to change for its small size, simple to operate and can be fixed firmly.
[05] In order to achieve the purpose described above, this invention provides the following technical methods: a multifunctional joint device for post-tracheotomy oxygen uptake/moisturizing, belonging to the field of medical apparatus. The device is comprised of a hollow casing with an output pipe joint and two input pipe joints on its surface, the output pipe joint and the two input pipe joints can all communicate the inside of casing with outside. The two input pipe joints are used for connecting an oxygen inhalation tube or a moisturizing infusion tube. A clamping part for connecting with respiratory extension tube is sleeved on the outer end of the output pipe joint. The clamping part, which is made of rubber material, has inverted cone structure relative to output pipe joint described, its maximum size is bigger than the size of respiratory extension tube.
[06] Further, the removable sealing cap is set up on the outer ends of two input pipe joints.
[07] Further, there are crew threads on the outer ends of two input pipe joints, which can get a good grip when respiratory extension tube or moisturizing tube is connected to the device.
[08] Further, the two input pipe joints are set up on the top of the casing and the output pipe joint is set up on the bottom of the casing.
[09] The invention has the beneficial effects described as below
[010] In order to achieve the synchronized oxygen inhaling and moisturizing, this invention designs a multifunctional joint device by theory of tri-branch tube. The device has two input pipe joints that can firmly fix oxygen inhalation tube and infusion tube without using adhesive tape. A clamping part for connecting with respiratory extension tube is sleeved on the outer end of the output pipe joint. The joint device by this invention can implement either oxygen inhalation or moisturizing, or both at the same time. It has simple structure, easy to operate and change, highly movable, and it can adjust the placement of oxygen inhalation tube or infusion tube in case of need, thus, relieving the workload of medical workers.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[015] Referring to figure 1 and figure 2, this invention provides an embedded joint device for oxygen uptake and moisturizing, comprising a casing 1 with hollow column structure, two input pipe joints 2-3 and an output pipe joint 4 are set up on its surface, a Clamping part 5 is sleeved on the outer end of the output pipe joint 4.
[016] Further, referring to figure 1, the two input pipe joints 2-3 on the surface of the casing 1 are used for connecting an oxygen inhalation tube or a moisturizing infusion tube. One end of two input pipe joints 2-3 communicates with the interior of the casing, making communication with the exterior, the other end has crew threads that can get a good grip when respiratory extension tube or moisturizing tube is connected to the device, that is also convenient for changing or taking off the oxygen inhalation tube or infusion tube. The removable sealing cap 6 is set up on the outer ends of two input pipe joints 2-3, which can prevent contamination from two input pipe joints 2-3 when the device is not in use.
[017] Further, referring to figure 1 or figure 2, the output pipe joint 4 is used to connect the respiratory extension tube. The output pipe joint 4 is on the bottom of the casing 1, its one end communicates with the casing 1, making communication between respiratory extension tube and interior of the casing 1, channeling the oxygen and moisture to the respiratory extension tube from two input pipe joints 2-3. A clamping part that communicates output pipe joint 4 and respiratory extension tube is set up on one external end of output pipe joint 4.
[018] The clamping part 5, which is made of rubber material, has inverted cone structure relative to output pipe joint 4 described, its maximum size is bigger than the size of respiratory extension tube. The clamping part 5 uses rubber material with inverted cone structure is for better inserting into respiratory extension tube when the described embedded crossover joint is in use and having more firmly grip on the port of respiratory extension tube when the end of clamping part 5 with maximum size against the end of respiratory extension tube, accomplishing the fixation of the joint device.
[019] The application method of embedded crossover joint is,
[020] Taking off sealing cap 6 from two input pipe joints 2-3, connecting the input pipe with oxygen inhalation tube and moisturizing infusion tube, output pipe joint 4 is embedding into respiratory extension tube through clamping part 5.
[021] This invention achieve the synchronized oxygen inhaling and moisturizing, this invention designs a multifunctional joint device by theory of tri-branch tube. THE CLAIMS DEFINING THE INVENTION ARE AS FOLLOWS:

A multifunctional joint device for post-tracheotomy oxygen uptake and moisturizing is characterized in that is comprised of a hollow casing with an output pipe joint and two input pipe joints on its surface, the output pipe joint and the two input pipe joints can all communicate the inside of casing with outside. The two input pipe joints are used for connecting an oxygen inhalation tube or a moisturizing infusion tube. A clamping part for connecting with respiratory extension tube is sleeved on the outer end of the output pipe joint. The clamping part, which is made of rubber material, has inverted cone structure relative to output pipe joint described, its maximum size is bigger than the size of respiratory extension tube.
2. According to claim 1, the multifunctional joint device for post-tracheotomy oxygen uptake and moisturizing is characterized in that the removable sealing cap is set up on the outer ends of two input pipe joints

According to claim 1, the multifunctional joint device for post-tracheotomy oxygen uptake and moisturizing is characterized in that there are crew threads on the outer ends of two input pipe joints, which can get a good grip when respiratory extension tube or moisturizing tube is connected to the device.
4. According to claim 1, the multifunctional joint device for post-tracheotomy oxygen uptake and moisturizing is characterized in that the two input pipe joints are set up on the top of the casing and the output pipe joint is set up on the bottom of the casing.
