Abstract
The invention provides a closed traveling wheel for laterally-mounted machine, which
belongs to the technical field of transmission equipment. The closed traveling wheel for
laterally-mounted machine comprises a idler wheel body, wherein the inside of the idler wheel
body is provided with a idler wheel inner hole; the inside of the idler wheel inner hole is
provided with a closed bearing seat; one end of the closed bearing seat extends to the outside
of the idler wheel inner hole and is rotatably clamped with the outer side wall of the idler
wheel body, and the outer surface of the other end of the closed bearing seat is rotatably
connected with a bearing; the outer surface of the bearing is fixedly connected to the inner
side wall of the idler wheel body. A bearing seat structure is introduced and the bearing seat is
made into a closed type to prevent dust and granular materials from entering the idler wheel.
The inner hole of the bearing and the outer diameter of the closed bearing seat, and the outer
diameter of the bearing and the idler wheel inner hole adopt an interference fit, which can
make the bearing seat and the shaft remain stationary, eliminate the radial gap in the
traditional installation method, and make the transmission of the idler wheel more stable.

Description
[0001] The invention provides a closed traveling wheel for laterally-mounted machine, which
belongs to the technical field of transmission equipment.
[0002] There are two traditional idler wheel structures: the idler wheel is sleeved on the shaft
in hollow or, the rolling bearing is installed in the idler wheel, and the bearing is directly
sleeved on the shaft. The former has poor lubricity between the idler wheel and the pin, and
the idler wheel and pin are easy to wear; dust, mud, etc. are easy to enter between the rollers
and thereby cause the idler wheel to jam, and the axial movement is large; the unstable factors
are strong. For the latter, after the rolling bearing is installed, it is improved compared with
the traditional method; however, the inner ring of the bearing is sleeved on the shaft in hollow,
and the idler wheel bounces greatly; dust, mud, etc. are easy to enter between the bearings and
shafts and thereby cause the idler wheel to jam; the lubricity is poor, and the axial movement
is large; especially for traveling on complex roads for a long time, there are also major safety
hazards.

- 4. The closed traveling wheel for laterally-mounted machine according to claim 1,wherein the interior of the idler wheel body (1) is pre-filled with grease.
