[0008] The adjustable Orthotic footwear described as the invention in this document uses different height wedges that can be inserted in through the side the footwear as part of the shoe to raise or lower the height of the arch support to give the user the ability to adjust the footwear to the desired height of the users unique foot shape, as no two feet are the same the user has the ability to select the right amount of support for each foot, relieving unwanted pain and stress.
[0009] Different size wedges can be inserted through the side of the sole under the arch of the foot giving more or less support to the users foot arch.

[0012] Fig.2 Shows example of the wedge outside edge, the piece that you will see once the wedge is inserted into the side of the shoe sole, also showing two locator pins on the underside of the wedge that locate the wedges correct position when inserted in through the side of the shoe.
[0013] Fig.3 Shows example of the wedge top view that looks like a tongue, this is the piece that sets the height of the arch support.
[0014] Fig.4 Shows example of the inside edge of the shoe where the wedge is inserted in between the upper and mid soles creating a difference in height under the arch of the foot.
[0015] Fig.5 Shows example of the top side of the shoe where the wedge sits inside the sole of the shoe under the arch of the foot.
[0016] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
[0017] Wedges used in the footwear come in through the side of the shoe to give the inner sole a different shape.
[0018] The wedges are made as part of the shoe sole design and fit perfectly in to place making the wedge undetectable to look at.
[0019] Wedges can be made using many different types of material depending on the desired support of the foot arch.
[0020] Wedge can be covered in many different materials to give a certain look e.g, coloured materials, leather etc..
[0021] Materials used in the construction of Footwear and wedges would include but not be limited to EVA, PU, PE, PVC, Rubber, Material, Nylon, Leather, Plastic all made from various colours and patterns.
[0022] Wedges have locators to help hold the wedge in place after being inserted into the sole.
[0023] Wedges have have the ability to be custom trimmed to different size by the user to even further customise the feel under foot and help correctly align the feet, legs and knees.
