PATENT SPECIFICATION FOR THE INVENTION ENTITLED:
An anti-mildew treatment method for environment-friendly bamboo materials
The invention is described in the following statement:-
An anti-mildew treatment method for environment-friendly bamboo materials
TECHNICAL FIELD
The invention relates to an anti-mildew treatment method for environment-friendly
bamboo materials, which belongs to the technical field of bamboo mildew-proof treatment.
BACKGROUND
Bamboo has the characteristics of fast growth, good degradability, short growth cycle,
high yield, as well as good physical and mechanical properties, which has a great
development value. The anti-mildew treatment of bamboo is a very important process in
the processing and manufacturing of bamboo daily necessities, bamboo furniture and
bamboo engineering materials. Although the existing anti-mildew treatment technology
has greatly reduced the toxicity to human body and environment, it can not be used for
common daily bamboo products such as bamboo bucket, bamboo chopsticks, bamboo
cutting board, bamboo toothbrush and so on. Therefore, it is of great significance to
develop an environment-friendly bamboo mildew-proof treatment method for daily
bamboo products and appliances.
Chinese invention patent CN 110253706A discloses the following method: firstly,
soaking the bamboo material in the mixed enzyme solution ultrasonic treatment, then
soaking the bamboo in the modified treatment solution. then bundling bamboo materials
and wrapping them with insulation coils. Connecting the steam generator and adding anti- corrosion treatment agent to treat bamboo, and finally drying bamboo. Although this method can play an anti-mildew effect to a certain extent, the bamboo material after ultrasonic treatment is not washed with water, and the broken starch and sugar are attached to the surface of bamboo after ultrasonic treatment, which makes bamboo more susceptible to mildew. Moreover, the added modified treatment solution and preservative are highly toxic, it cannot be applied to the anti-mildew treatment of bamboo for making daily bamboo products and appliances. Aiming at the problem that mildew easily occurs in the use process of the current daily bamboo products appliances, the invention provides an anti-mildew treatment method for environment-friendly bamboo materials.
SUMMARY
The present invention is based on the characteristics that the thermal and mechanical
effects of ultrasonic waves can destroy the starch and inclusions in bamboo. Combining
the food-grade anti-fungal agent and food grade paraffin wax, the bamboo material
processed by this technology can not only significantly improve its anti-fungal
performance, but also can greatly improve the dimensional stability, mechanical properties,
hardness, wear resistance and hydrophobicity of bamboo, which has significant economic
value and social benefits.
The technical solution of the invention comprises the following process steps:
Si. Soaking the bamboo material after removing its green and yellow skins in water,
and performing ultrasonic treatment for 1-2h;
S2. Washing the bamboo material after ultrasonic treatment with running water for 1-
2h;
S3. Putting the washed bamboo in the compound anti-fungal agent, and soaking it for
1-2h under normal temperature and pressure;
S4. Drying the bamboo material at 30-50°C after treated with the anti-mold agent, and
the moisture content is maintained at 8-12%;
S5. Putting the dried bamboo in the compound paraffin wax emulsion and soaking it
for 1-2h under normal temperature and pressure;
S6. Drying the paraffin-treated bamboo at 30-50°C, and keeping the moisture content
at 15-20%;
S7. Tempering the dried bamboo at 60-80°C for 0.5-1.5h, and the moisture content is
controlled at 8 - 1 2 %.
The ultrasonic treatment process is that the ultrasonic frequency is 50khz-100khz, the
ultrasonic power is 400-800w, and the ultrasonic temperature is 20-80 °C.
The compound anti-fungal agent is sodium acetate and butyl paraben or sodium
diacetate and butyl paraben or sodium diacetate and propyl paraben, and its mass ratio is
1:1-3:1. Adding a certain amount of water and stirring them at 20-50°C for 10-30min to
prepare a solution with the concentration of 0.6-1.4%.
The compound paraffin emulsion is prepared by homogenizing 20-25 of parts of
No.58 food paraffin, 1.5-2 of parts of 2- hydroxy -1,4 naphthoquinone, 2-3 parts of Tween
and 80-100 parts of distilled water at 80-100 °C for 1-2h.
The process of the invention is simple, energy-saving and environmentally friendly, and it is suitable for popularization.
