CRIME DETECTION AND PREVENTION SYSTEM USING PERSONAL AND PUBLIC IoT NETWORKS
Description
Field of Invention:
This field addresses the crime detection and prevention system using the personal and public IoT network. Over the years, crime activities impacting in negative way on the development of social and economic factors. To overcome this challenge, the Information and Communication Technology are being used to maximum advantage in the recent times. In this regard, the advancement of Internet of Things has a great potential to solve the problems. In order to reduce the crime rate, the technologies like Big Data and IoT helps to track and monitor the crime in real time.
Background of invention:
Elis, A and Morris, S.V. addressed that, the crime is an act impacts the community in negative way and the punishment is given in the way of paying fine or the imprisonment. Some of the examples given by Renold, A. p., Rani, R. J. is that Robbery, Murder, Kidnap, etc. 0 Sabiya, B. J. explained that the crime rate is defined as that, it is inversely proportional to the economic development rate for any of the nation. Tae-Heon M., Sun-Young H., Sang-Ho L addressed that, in the manual-based approach, the crime recording and documentation is done based on norms by the local police. When the crime is reported in police station, they will tell the person to fill the incident sheet in order to write the statement in the incident sheet. This will be taken as the recorded information by the police officer in the incident case file. In the year of 2011, the crime tracker was developed to manage the criminal records. This has helped the police authority to manage the criminals in the state. Byun, J. Y., Nasridinov, A., Park, Y. H. addresses the usage of surveillance CCTV camera and the smart phone which is equipped with the GPS technology for the purpose of tracking and monitoring the mobile phone user. The Surveillance mobile application which is installed in the smart phone is launched to start the streaming of video and it will be sent to the centralized monitoring server, and also it is sent to the police authority for the action. The drawback is that, it does not work on all the platforms of mobile phone. Pulim, P. R., Rajesh, D. explained that the crime prevention system makes use of the internet access and the mobile application to the maximum advantage. The mobile application will provide the information on the basis of the
1| P a g e factors which will cause the crime occurrence within the area. The mobile application which is connected to the big data analytics engine will analyze the public big data like usage of credit card, flow of pedestrians and the use of smart phone, etc. The big data is analyzed using the Spatial statistical analysis will produce the factors by affecting the occurrence of crime and also provides the crime information to the public via the mobile application or internet. Cai, H., Xu, L. D., Xu, B., Xie, C., Qin, S., Jiang, L. has developed the smart crime detection model using the IoT. It has potential to detect the crime in real time on the basis of human emotions. This is used as the basic data for the police agencies in order to find out the crime and allows the citizens to be safer in the place where they live in. The drawback is that, the wearable sensors is used and this could be removed during the attack by the kidnappers. Jara, J., Zamora-Izquierdo, M. A., Skarmeta, A. F. addresses that, the method has proposed the system to identify the deception present in the communication by using emails related to the criminal activities. The decision tree classification which is present within the data mining technique helps to detect the deception in the emails. Deception is characterized by the reduction of frequency of the first-person pronouns, exclusive words, and elevated words also the use of actions (verb). This model will be applied to the large volume of email dataset and further it is applied to the decision tree classification techniques. The decision tree which is generated is used to classify the email as the fraudulent or not. Li et al. has proposed the novel IoT-based application which is also known as smart community with various different functions for the local residents. In this method, the wireless communication and unique smart sensing technologies is facilitated to connect the smart home in the local community and also performs some functions for the local residents. Bi et al. addressed the impact of IoT technology for the enterprise system in modem manufacturing. This author has discussed about the IoT technologies in data acquisition and data sharing in manufacturing, enterprise, human and object interaction, and decision-making process. The traffic monitoring system has been proposed using different IoT technologies by Xiao and Wang. This method is used for vehicle identification by using Electronic Product Code which is globally unique by using the RFID reader. The vehicle position can be determined using the GPS technology and the mobile object data will be transmitted using the GPRS concept. Jara et al. addressed the framework for the mobile health based on the concept of IoT. Based on proposed system, the vital sign of patient can be monitored. The patient can be monitored in the remote centers, and also in the personal platforms like tablets.

Detailed Description of the Invention:
The proposed system uses some of the following steps to make the system in effective way. The different modules like Sensing of emotion, Recording the emotions, Detection of crime, Visualizing the crime, and Prediction of crime. The Figure 1 consists of the following components. i) Emotion State Sensing Module - It has capability to sense the emotions of the user by using the body-centric smart sensor which is named as RFID, that will be wore by the user. ii) Emotion State Recording Module - This module is used to record and store the types of crime detected. iii) Crime Detection Module - This module is used to send the alerts to the stakeholder, police authorities, and the users relatives. iv) Crime Visualization Module - It is used to store the crime detected in the repository and later it can be visualized through the web based Geographical Information System. v) Crime Prediction Module - It is used to make some crime predictions using the analysis of large volume of crime data. From the Figure 1, the person will be equipped with the wearable or implantable device for the purpose of tracking. The smart sensor is used to sense the emotions of the person or the user. The sensing device can also sense the heartbeat and the inner temperature of the user. In order to enhance the accuracy of the crime detection, the emotional status of the user will be recorded using the CCTV camera. The sensor will be interconnected to the CCTV camera for the reason of monitoring through the programmable CCTV cameras in order to know the human's emotional status. In case, if the person is in dangerous situation or any attack happened on the person, his/her emotion changes will be sensed using the smart sensor and it will be recorded using the CCTV cameras and the recording component of the emotion. Based on the emotion sensing and recording, Real-time crime detection will identify the crime and transfers the notification to the police authorities, user relatives, and parents, etc. The Crime detection
41 P a g e component is used to identify the crime based on the user's emotions which is sensed and recorded. Alertness and notifications will be sent to the patrol vehicle of the police officers in order to take immediate action once the crime is reported. The crime which is detected is stored in the database to visualize through the web-based GIS. The crime visualization component is used to store the crime which is detected in the database and later it can be visualized by using a web based Geographical Information System (GIS). The Large volume of data can be analyzed to predict the future crime and to help the authorities to concentrate on the hotspot areas. Crime prediction can be worked out by analyzing the large volume of crime data set, and prediction can be done for the future use. The areas like crime hotspot can be ignored and the help can be done to police by focusing on the problematic area. The data can be recorded related to criminals for the future reference by using automated system. In case, if they adopted, escaping from authority is difficult, because the fingerprint and other biometric data of the criminals will be already stored in the system.
The user should use the wearable sensor device to sense the heartbeat and inner body temperature. The emotions accuracy will be uncertain because the surprised person heartbeat and the person who is in danger heartbeat will be similar. To enhance the emotion detection, the users should be monitored via the CCTV cameras. The programmable CCTV cameras is used to identify 36 emotional states of the human. After detection of crime, the alertness and notifications can be transferred to authorities and emergency centers, parents. The Crime which is detected can be stored in the database for visualizing in the future. So that, it helps the police authorities and the users. The crime can be predicted by analyzing the emotional status and the biological data of the user which is received by the different sensors present within his/her body. Figure 2 shows the hardware architecture of the crime detection. The objective is to alert the users authorities and parents remotely by means of notification. The email can be sent to the smartphone of authorities, when a crime takes place. The PIR motion sensor is used to detect the action, and it will get activate once the motion is detected. The video will be recorded in the Pi camera module, once the sensor is activated. The alertness can be given through buzzer with continuous beep. The Raspberry Pi is the microprocessor which is designed with the Linux operating software. It consumes low power and performance will be similar to desktop computer. The Pi camera can take the video with high defined quality. The user's motion can be detected using Passive Infrared sensor. The Raspberry
