Abstract

The present invention provides a method and device for indoor positioning of a mobile terminal. A plurality of WIFI signal hotspots are provided indoors. METHOD AND DEVICE FOR INDOOR POSITIONING OF MOBILE TERMINAL TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of signal and information processing, and to a method and a device for indoor positioning of a mobile terminal.
BACKGROUND
[0002] In the ZigBee indoor positioning technology, other positioning networks needs to be laid according to environmental requirements, a considerable amount of devices are required, and the cost is relatively high. Bluetooth indoor positioning technology achieves accurate positioning in indoor environments by measuring the signal strength, which is not easily affected by obstacles. Due to the relatively high cost of Bluetooth devices and the large number of devices required to achieve accurate positioning, the indoor positioning technology is suitable for a specific environment and cannot be fully popularized. The ultra wide band technology completely gets rid of the traditional method using carrier modulation, and is susceptible to interference from other narrow-band wireless communication signals, which will bring great errors to positioning. In the infrared indoor positioning technology, many devices such as optical sensors need to be installed, and the cost is relatively high, so that the infrared indoor positioning technology is suitable for a relatively simple and fixed indoor environment. Since the ultrasonic indoor positioning technology is also greatly affected by environmental factors, errors are prone to occur. At the same time, the hardware requirements are also very high, so that the cost is relatively high.
[0003] On the other hand, WIFI signals have been widely used at present, and WIFI signal hotspots (also referred to as APs) have been laid indoors in streets and large structures. Therefore, indoor positioning of WIFI has been implemented to meet the needs of people to determine their location, which is of great significance on realizing the construction of smart cities.
SUMMARY
[0004] A method for indoor positioning of a mobile terminal, wherein a plurality of WIFI signal hotspots are provided indoors, wherein the method comprises the steps of:

DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS
[0013] As shown in FIG. 1, a method for indoor positioning of a mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided, wherein a plurality of WIFI signal hotspots are provided indoors, wherein the method comprises: obtaining the location information of a plurality of WIFI signal hotspots (SOO); calculating the respective distances between the mobile terminal and the WIFI signal hotspots based on the RSSI value (S200); calculating the location information of the mobile terminal based on the location information of the plurality of WIFI signal hotspots and the respective distances between the mobile terminal and the plurality of WIFI signal hotspots (S300).

Claims (5)

Claims WHAT IS CLAIMED IS:
1. A method for indoor positioning of a mobile terminal, wherein a plurality of WIFI signal hotspots are provided indoors, wherein the method comprises:
1) obtaining the location information of a plurality of WIFI signal hotspots;
2) calculating the respective distances between the mobile terminal and the WIFI signal hotspots based on the RSSI value;
3) calculating the location information of the mobile terminal based on the location information of the plurality of WIFI signal hotspots and the respective distances between the mobile terminal and the plurality of WIFI signal hotspots.

The method according to claim 1, wherein the plurality of WIFI signal hotspots comprise WIFI signal hotspots located in an indoor boundary area and WIFI signal hotspots located in an indoor interior area, wherein obtaining the location information of the plurality of WIFI signal hotspots comprises:
1-1) obtaining the location information of the WIFI signal hotspots located in the indoor boundary area;
1-2) using the calibrated location information of the WIFI signal hotspots located in the indoor boundary area to calculate the location information of the WIFI signal hotspots that have not obtained the location information during the movement of the mobile terminal.
3. The method according to claim 2, wherein obtaining the location information of WIFI signal hotspots located in the indoor boundary area comprises:
1-1-1) receiving, by the mobile terminal located outside the indoor boundary area, GPS signals to obtain the location information of the current location of the mobile terminal;
1-1-2) receiving, by the mobile terminal, the signal of the WIFI signal hotspots located in the indoor boundary area simultaneously, and calculating the distance between the current location of the mobile terminal and the WIFI signal hotspots located in the indoor boundary area based on the RSSI value;
1-1-3) calculating the location information of the WIFI signal hotspots located in the indoor boundary area based on the location information of the current location of the mobile terminal and the distance between the current location of the mobile terminal and the WIFI signal hotspots.

The method according to claim 3, wherein using the calibrated location information of the WIFI signal hotspots located in the indoor boundary area to calculate the location information of the WIFI signal hotspots that have not obtained the location information during the movement of the mobile terminal comprises:
1-2-1) after the mobile terminal enters the indoor interior area, simultaneously receiving the signal of the WIFI signal hotspots located in the indoor boundary area that have obtained the location information and the signal of the WIFI signal hotspots that have not obtained the location information, so as to obtain the distance between the current location of the mobile terminal and the WIFI signal hotspots located in the indoor boundary area that have obtained the location information and the distance between the current location of the mobile terminal and the WIFI signal hotspots that have not obtained the location information;
1-2-2) calibrating the current location of the mobile terminal based on the WIFI signal hotspots located in the indoor boundary area that have obtained the location information, so as to obtain the current location information of the mobile terminal;
1-2-3) calculating the location information of the WIFI signal hotspots that has not been calibrated based on the current location information of the mobile terminal and the distance between the current location of the mobile terminal and the WIFI signal hotspots that have not obtained the location information, and repeating the above steps during the movement of the mobile terminal until the location information of all WIFI signal hotspots is obtained.
5. A device for indoor positioning of a mobile terminal, comprising:
an obtaining module, which is configured to obtain the location information of a plurality of WIFI signal hotspots;
a distance calculating module, which is configured to calculate the respective distances between the mobile terminal and the WIFI signal hotspots based on the RSSI value;
a positioning module, which is configured to calculate the location information of the mobile terminal based on the location information of the plurality of WIFI signal hotspots and the respective distances between the mobile terminal and the plurality of WIFI signal hotspots;
wherein the plurality of WIFI signal hotspots comprise WIFI signal hotspots located in the indoor boundary area and WIFI signal hotspots located in the indoor interior area, wherein the obtaining module comprises:
a first obtaining sub-module, which is configured to obtain the location information of the WIFI signal hotspots located in the indoor boundary area; a second obtaining sub-module, which is configured to use the calibrated location information of the WIFI signal hotspots located in the indoor boundary area to calculate the location information of the WIFI signal hotspots that have not obtained the location information during the movement of the mobile terminal; wherein the first obtaining sub-module comprises: a GPS module, which is configured to receive GPS signals when the mobile terminal is located outside the indoor boundary area to obtain the location information of the current location of the mobile terminal; a first distance calculating sub-module, which is configured to calculate the distance between the current location of the mobile terminal and the WIFI signal hotspots located in the indoor boundary area based on the RSSI value; a first location information calculating module, which is configured to calculate the location information of the WIFI signal hotspots located in the indoor boundary area based on the location information of the current location of the mobile terminal and the distance between the current location of the mobile terminal and the WIFI signal hotspots; wherein the second obtaining sub-module comprises: a second distance calculating sub-module, which is configured to, after the mobile terminal enters the indoor interior area, calculate the distance between the current location of the mobile terminal and the WIFI signal hotspots located in the indoor boundary area that have obtained the location information and the distance between the current location of the mobile terminal and the WIFI signal hotspots that have not obtained the location information based on the signal of the WIFI signal hotspots located in the indoor boundary area that have obtained the location information and the signal of the WIFI signal hotspots that have not obtained the location information, which have been received by the mobile terminal, a first positioning sub-module, which is configured to calibrate the current location of the mobile terminal based on the WIFI signal hotspots located in the indoor boundary area that have obtained the location information, so as to obtain the current location information of the mobile terminal; a second location information calculating module, which is configured to calculate the location information of the WIFI signal hotspots that has not been calibrated based on the current location information of the mobile terminal and the distance between the current location of the mobile terminal and the WIFI signal hotspots that have not obtained the location information; wherein the device for indoor positioning of a mobile terminal further comprises an apparatus for indoor positioning of a mobile terminal, comprising: a memory, in which computer program instructions are stored; a processor, which is configured to execute the computer program instructions to perform the following operations:
1) obtaining the location information of a plurality of WIFI signal hotspots;
2) calculating the respective distances between the mobile terminal and the WIFI signal hotspots based on the RSSI value;
3) calculating the location information of the mobile terminal based on the location information of the plurality of WIFI signal hotspots and the respective distances between the mobile terminal and the plurality of WIFI signal hotspots,
wherein the device for indoor positioning of a mobile terminal further comprises a storage medium in which computer program instructions are stored, wherein the computer program instructions are used for indoor positioning of the mobile terminal, and the computer program instructions perform the following operations when being executed:
1) obtaining the location information of a plurality of WIFI signal hotspots;
2) calculating the respective distances between the mobile terminal and the WIFI signal hotspots based on the RSSI value;
3) calculating the location information of the mobile terminal based on the location information of the plurality of WIFI signal hotspots and the respective distances between the mobile terminal and the plurality of WIFI signal hotspots.
